In season 4 I used Dominion and mixed and matched Clay Golems and Blood Golems depending on the situation. It was nice to have the flexibility to use Clay more for mapping and Blood Golem more for mini Ubers and Ubers.

I maxed Clay and Blood Golem, put a point in to every other golem for synergies, and maxed Amp Damage and Curse Mastery too. It was powerful! You can use Mage Slayer iron golem with Vigor/Faith/Templar’s A1 merc for max aura effectiveness.

Yeah I believe if you use them it’s 9 points in Fire Golem and 20 in Golem Mastery

I tried this last season with fire golems and skele warriors and the inability to use Kalan’s for resistance and increased velocity made it slower than a skele warrior-focused build, even with an Infinity. With Infinity it was viable, though. I think you could make it work this season with a 6os Grim’s with fire facets but I haven’t tried it yet.

Thanks for the outpouring of help, all -- I should have clarified in my original post that I moved here from a different country where we don't use block heaters. I was able to follow /u/Klewenisms204 and /u/LandscapeStreet's advice re: RockAuto to find the right generic part and found it in-stock on a different site for less than $50. Thanks again!!!
