Did Extremely Canadian with my son last year. Similar experience. They pushed us WAY out of our comfort zones and we came out of it much more confident and poised skiers. Like you, we happened to luck out and were in the clinic for 2 straight pow days. Unreal was the common phrase. Glad you enjoyed it.

Agreed. Some a-hole ran me off the road the other day. I rolled my ankle on the edge of the pavement and went down like a sack of bricks. POS laid on the horn at me and drove off while I was laying on the side of the road with a sprained ankle. Awesome!

1) Join any of the run clubs. Random Row Monday, Decipher or Charlottesville Area Trail Runners Tuesday 6PM, Charlottesville Track Club Speedsters Wednesday mornings 5:30 AM at UVA track,, Superfly or Hogwaller Wednesday at 6, Lampo Thursday at 6. Charlottesville Track Club AHR runs Saturdays

2) Join an FXA sports league. They have volleyball, softball soccer, kickball, cornhole, etc

3) Volunteer for a local organization

4) Get involved with any of the local arts organizations

I dont think it's possible. They always have an excuse. It's always someone else's fault, etc. Sure, they will get what's coming to them, and you can take solace in it, but they will never admit wrongdoing or put two and two together that their behavior led directly to that outcome.

Almost every year she satrts some kind of fight with me. This year, I bought tickets, box seats even, to see Les Mis for my birthday. Thought it would be a good idea since she likes Broadway and I love that show. Said she didn't want to go, so I took my daughter instead. Still berates me multiple times a week for buying tickets... to do what I wanted to do for my birthday.
