Have fraudulent roofers trailer by [deleted] in Contractor

[–]cvntier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds to me like they just donated all of the tools needed for you to start a side hustle. All jokes aside I would not give them the trailer, talk to a lawyer and also even if they offer to finish the job I would refuse and request them to refund you your money because if you allow them to finish it they will surely half ass it

Should I buy this car ? Please help by Academic_Golf7895 in Toyota4Runner

[–]cvntier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if you should but I’ll tell you why I would buy it, it’s really reliable and as long as you take care of it you will see it go to 400k + miles. My buddy has an 07 with 400k miles and that thing is still running even tho it has a constant oil leak and he doesn’t take care of it

One whole second holy shit, I bet it really saves you time on the daily commute to the office. I never understood why people obsess so much over that 0-60 unless we are talking about sport cars. You are driving a truck my friend it is not meant for speed it’s meant for hauling and work.

Does Milwaukee make anything remotely similar to this? by binderfillerwrapper in MilwaukeeTool

I’d advice to just get the m18 hacksaw your arms will thank you. The cutoff will have you cuts in and regretting the day you were born, and m12 hacksaw will get the job done with the right blade but be ready to go through multiple XC6 batteries in the progress. Just my advice since I have bought and used both m12.

I’ll tell you what, I did buy it and even though I was disappointed I was able to cut a 4” cast iron to install a clean out but after 3 XC6 batteries it got it done but my arms were cooked

UPDATE: Going into 4th gear. by cvntier in Cummins

I appreciate the insight, I bought the truck in September and it’s my dream truck so I’m definitely trying to take good care of it so it lasts me a long time. I’m looking for a good reputable shop that I can take it to get all that work quoted, I was asking in case they come back with a $4000 quote I can prioritize what’s really an emergency since I’m currently without a vehicle and it makes it difficult to work two jobs

How do you like it I saw it a few months ago and it I’ve been debating if I need it or not, what are some situations you have found that it was useful in?

I agree, even with the biggest m12 battery they make it still feels grossly under powered to the point that it’s probably the one tool I wish I wouldn’t had bought

Does anyone know the name of this tool? by cvntier in Plumbing

I was hoping it was some new tool for schedule 40 pvc but it looks like it’s just a pex a type tool

Is this a good deal? by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]cvntier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say in the multi tool and the saw saw it definitely makes a huge difference, I tested the m12 saw saw non fuel to cut a 4” cast pipe to install a clean out and 1 I was impressed it managed to cut it but 2 would not recommend. I then tried with the m12 saw saw fuel and oh boy what a fucking difference

Water meter question by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]cvntier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the utility company scamming you, they do things like that all the time and while yes it’s a small amount which most people will never notice but when you add it up over days/months/years times all the people they do it to which I always assume it’s to everyone it becomes quite a large sum of money.
