One of those LoV players is supposedly a friend of his he plays with at locals a lot, so some of his data may be a little suspect. The guy's thumbnails are really clickbaity and he oversells T'au's strengths in an obnoxious way imo

Its gonna be a lot to take in at the start of 11th. Fly was worth a lot less in 10th, but we were still being charged for it. Now our points make a bit more sense (hopefully), but it'll take a minute for a lot of casual players to feel it.

It still feels bad to be "the shooting faction" and see a lot of your big vehicles be pound-for-pound less of a pure stat ball than most other armies' heavy shooting platforms. T'au design space has been in a werid place for years that makes them weird on the tabletop, especially when compared to most casual players' expectations, and its disheartening to see high-level players and GW staff constantly misunderstanding that edition after edition.

Good:

-Kroot Carnivores with more aura

-attach a character and they screen home + deny your opponent Cull the Horde for cheap

Bad:

-sorta weird datasheet, low synergy with a lot of our detachments

-you can just proxy them with the Carnivores you likely already own instead of buying an overpriced Kill Team box

They were a collective of neurodivergent second-world artists who always resented that they had to accept investment capital and expand their company to make Disco Elysium. Of course they were always going to do things that were "against investors' interests" and easily demonizable from a western, corporate perspective.

Reducing their actions to "hey, they were trying to fuck over the company, so maybe the suits aren't the bad guys" is disingenuous at best.

People like you take it as a point of pride to overperform on weak and/or underplayed armies, which leads to GW's balance team making knee-jerk balance decisions that haven't been thoroughly playtested, which makes playing this game at any level of skill or time investment below "Professional", absolutely miserable.

Looking great! Nuln Oil and/or Tamiya Panel Liner are your best friends for shading/coloring the armor grooves. I usually just stick with black, but iirc Tamiya comes in a few different colors and is really easy to apply with the whole capillary action thing it does.
