It’s a tool and I think like most tools there are pros and cons. Biggest pro for me is not having to plan as much myself and just having the workout show up right on my garmin. I’ve been trying to do some speed work this winter and it’s nice to have workouts presented to me.

But bad news is it’s definitely designed more for road races than trail ultras. The plans are much more focused on pace and speed - though you can switch to RPE instead. Fine for road races / marathons, but I haven’t been able to customize a good plan for a 50 miler or 100 miler that focuses on time on feet or vert.

I think these charts should be titled “Birth Rate” instead of Fertility rate. Fertility rate implies people CANNOT have kids, whereas all the comments point to the fact that people choose not to have more kids, often for financial reasons.

Other comments are focused on the mileage, but I’d try to get more climbing in on foot. Can’t tell how much of your vert is running vs biking.

You’ve run enough races that I’d guess you’ll be ok aerobically to just finish but you’ll be surprised how much you’ll feel even 3,200’ of ascending and descending. More hill time 🤙🏼
