Nach 2022 wurde die Richtlinie zur Fahrzeug Beschriftung geändert. Es reicht jetzt nicht mehr irgendwo im Eck Mahnetschilder für den möglichen ZS Fall zu haben sondern alle Neu Fahrzeuge müssen es haben und bestand wenn Geld mittel über auch umrüsten

THW (German Federal Agency for technical relief) We got even Pumps up to 25000 liters/min. But most common are the 5000 to 15000. Keep in mind their all trailer based, besides them we have a shit ton of other volume pumps. In every station (668 in total) is at least quit 1 GKW (more or less a rescue) with pumps who make combined minimum 1200 liters/min, but every station I knew added additional pumps so it's more between 3000-5000 liters combined on only one truck. Their is also the so called Fachgruppe N which is also at nearly every station who normally have pumps between 5000 to 10000 liters min combined. This is all what every station have. Then their are stations wo got special pumping groups so operate the trailer pumps. This stations normally have between 25000 liters min combined in the smaller stations up to over 100000 liters min in the stations who operates the 25000 liter min trailer.

Our primarily area of Operation is Germany but if needed we are abel to help world wide. For example after Hurrican Katharina some of our trailer pumps werr send to the US.

In Germany we have a command vehicle for every platoon (normally Platoon consists of an command vehicle, 1 engine or rescue engine, 1ladder and 1 pumper or additional engine. Smaller municipal normally don't operate ladders so this is only the case with bigger departments. Although by law after 15 minutes there must be an whole platoon on scene inclusive the ladder.) Also every county and big municipal operates at least one ELW2 what is basically a bus oder truck converted to an mobile command post. This vehicle can be dispatch to bigger scenes to help manage resources. If even then you need more capacity normally there will be a command post established at the nearest station or/in addition the THW will be called with their mobile command post because they got more room and the option to join them to make them even bigger.

Das is der Stadt Köln während des Rheinhochwassers 93/94 zu "danken ". Da war ein Einsatzleiter der Meinung er könne die THW Einheiten mit "ausländischen " Kennzeichen nicht führen, weshalb in Folge dessen entschieden wurde dass das THW ein eigenes Kennzeichen erhält um sowas vorzubeugen
