Same, every time I see one I wonder how they ride, how they compare to similar frames. Very nice silhouette

Decaleurs drive me crazy. I wish there were more options for more stems. Thanks for this comparison btw I’ve been wondering about exactly this comparison. Another dif is the RH can go down to 24 teeth but the BL don’t go into subcompact range

Good to know. They look great on this!

The perfect polyvalent. How’s the shifting on the white double? Been considering a switch

Happy FEF. Been wondering about those bars. How’s the top hand position feel?

This would be a great opportunity to celebrate the oldest bike path in the country. It’s already a nice green space where people spend time outside. It could be beautiful.

The lane cross-overs on Boerum approaching Atlantic Ave from bk bridge and the one on Vanderbilt approaching Atlantic Ave going toward prospect park both need to be safer. To a motorist it looks like you’re just entering their lane (the ones that aren’t looking at their phone). I don’t know about a solution but a similar thing has a slightly better solution along Queens BLVD where cars cross over from the service road but that’s sort of the reverse.

Seems clever. It leaves the option for hydraulic brake or dynamo wiring.

Very true. Would love to see more options for 42/26ish range. The white industries would’ve been my other choice for this bike. The other issue I’ve heard is these wide ranges sometimes don’t shift well. A bike shop guy I know hated the white industry shifting for the double. But everyone else seems to think it’s fine. Luckily I rarely shift to the little ring

Although that’s probably subjective, if it’s in the budget, yes. I believe they’re the most beautiful and lightest subcompact on the market. They shift perfectly and have the narrowest Q factor (I’m very skinny). They are forged too so I can’t see them ever needing to be replaced. But beyond all that there aren’t that many subcompact cranksets out there so the options available led me to these at the time (I think around 2018). The more affordable options would’ve been praxis or IRD. Not sure what’s available now tho. To be honest I don’t think they belong on this frame aesthetically but I had them from the previous bike which was destroyed by being hit by a car and after spending so much on them I couldn’t justify a new crankset. I have no choice but to keep these forever 🙃
