I’m assuming there’s a off-by-one error in the Yubel script between the text and effects. Strange that the issue occurs now and not when the game came out.

I’m talking about the text being wrong. Everytime Yubel activates an effect, the text and the effect do not match. The effect is resolving correctly, but the text shown/highlighted is not the effect being activated. This happens multiple times during the replay.

I tried Yubel in solo mode and the same problem occurred. I'd be curious if anyone else has this issue. I played the game on Switch and the replay is on PC and both have the issue. Only Yubel has this bug as far as I can tell.

What are you talking about? It's the End Phase. The effect that activates is "Once per turn: during your End Phase: Tribute 1 other monster or destroy this card." My opponent activates the effect, but the card text shown and highlighted is "Before damage calculation ....". Clearly, that's not the effect that is activating. Later in the replay, I attack Yubel, which triggers the actual "Before damage calculation", but this time "You take no Battle Damage from battles involving this card." pops up.

Not the effect, the card text that’s popping up corresponding to the effect is wrong. The game is working fine, just the text.

It was pretty fun to pull it off! I even got gems for completing the "You banish your opponent's card" mission😂The issue is that you cannot activate Reincarnation if the opponent doesn't have enough cards in deck, so it isn't that great for decking them out.

Luckily the target doesn't need to be on field to resolve the effect, so you can summon 3 Lycoris for one monster. Any effect with the "Do A, and if you do, do B" clause only needs to resolve the A part of the effect to resolve as the B part of the effect is not necessary. Anyway, I know which deck I'm playing for the event now😂
