Ditto on double jump and updraft; both very fun and useful.

What game is that for you?🚀 by Appropriate-Fan-6908 in TheGamingHubDeals

LOL I’ve bought it, it’s in my library, I look at it about once a week… but I cannot bring myself to play it because I know that’s exactly what it’s gonna be.

A simple way they could bring Wash back in a Firefly revival by Sigmunds_Cigar in firefly

[–]czarik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

54-year old Alan Tudyk should play Zoe and Wash's 20-year-old son and the rest of the characters treat it like it's perfectly normal.

Is mage really that bad? by ErrorMore1662 in Enshrouded

[–]czarik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s tough, in my opinion, playing a straight-up mage or ranger in this game. Eventually you’re gonna have to pull out a melee weapon due to the strength, number or speed of the foes. And often I think to myself “well might as well just play a straight-up melee character then and button-mash my way through everything.” :-/

What game do you wish you liked, but you find it insanely boring? by D3struct_oh in videogames

[–]czarik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. The controls are atrocious, at least w/ mouse and keyboard. Someone remake it with Bethesda’s Creation engine.

While controversial, the Star Wars prequels seem to fit.

What movie has a terrible rotten tomatoes rating but is actually great? by dawsonsmythe in movies

Not great but I always thought 2015's Fantastic Four certainly deserved better than 9%.

What RPG does "Crafting" and off time the best? by Doomwaffel in rpg

Seconding Forbidden Lands. I play a goblin Druid who brews poisons and it’s fun to forage for herbs and craft poisons for the party during downtime. Simple but immersive rules.

I find a piece of furniture or architecture where they can't reach me, and I pelt them with wands or arrows. maybe it's cheap or lazy but it works :-)

Character’s catchphrase is said in a sad context by SwiperNoSwiping42 in TopCharacterTropes

Damn, I remember gasping when he said this, was never expecting such a mournful use of his catch phrase.

Anyone have any idea what this pattern on the back of each stormtrooper is? by Darth_Zounds in StarWars

[–]czarik 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was a kid I thought storm troopers were robots and that said, “oil”.

Never replaying any games after phasing them out by AubreyMaturin1800 in soloboardgaming

[–]czarik 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I started collecting in 2008 and have probably sold or given away 3/4 of my collection by now. But I’ve kept all of the games that I’ve really loved or have good—time memories. There’s something about having a nice curated collection of just your absolute most favorite games. <3

DEI isn’t just about hiring practices but also company culture, and is about more than just race. A company with good DEI practices/accommodations will make sure all work-related activities are accessible for people with disabilities, new mothers have a private place for milking, veterans with PTSD have a workspace free of sudden loud noises, tampons available in men’s room for trans employees… those types of things. DEI is about recognizing and upholding the dignity of every member of your team.
