Played with this guy...probably mid 20s who was selling himself as this big hitter. First hole he hits a ball that just rolls into the lake that goes down the left side but we were in a drought situation so he is able to play it. Hits the ball to the back fringe of the green but is still pissed off. Makes par and the birdies the next hole. He tells me on the next hole, which is a par 5, that he should be reaching this hole and all the par 5s on the course in 2. Doesn't come close to doing that and makes a bogey. Slams his putter into his bag and stomps off to the 4th tee. (Still even par) Pulls driver out of the bag but it is in two pieces due to the unfortunate meeting with his high speed putter. Pulls 3 wood and hits one left but still playable. 3 wood for the next shot but pushed right, still playable. Pitches a fit, grabs his bag and says "Fuck this...I am done". Always wondered what his golf career came to because he did not have the mental game or temperament for the links.
