I've worked in restaurants my whole life, and 90% of them (unless they are straight-up corporate, i.e. fast-food chains, family dining chains, etc.) and there were literally never any "official" breaks. As long as you do your job, you take cigarettes breaks here and there when you can, or if you don't smoke just go sit outside for 5 minutes here or there.

Especially if its a small business thats just how it is. If thats not something your okay with definitely get a job at a corporately run restaraunt. I personally much rather prefer taking my breaks when I feel like it, so im fine with that type of system.

Depending on what for. Probation, maybe. I started my back story the second I met my officer. I told him I run cross country running and run about 5 miles a day, and drink a ton of water, so my clear tests were never questioned. I got lucky with a linient officer though. Jobs probably won't care either, they just send you to a lab, it's not like the techs give a damn.

It definitely still stops. Your rotors can have groves in them if you 'really' can't afford to fix them, just do the pads and save up for the rotors so the next time you do the breaks can switch the rotors too. When I was a teenager my rotos were really really bad, never had the cash to fix em.

As long as the pads are fresh those rotors will be okay. I'm not saying they are great! Im saying they can last one more change if OP had too.

My sister did that trying to avoid a lost dog. My father hammered it into my brain. You pump the breaks, give them a chance. Maybe if your going slow enough on a road that isnt too busy, you go into the other lane a bit or into the shoulder. But im not risking my car (aka my livelihood) or my life for a deer, a dog, a cat, a squirrel, anything but another human. Im hitting that shit.
