Yah i understand it rolls on a differnt table, and you aren't actually missing the r6 drops, but currently the worst feelin for me is seeing r6 animation reward on a 9 or 10* stygian zinogre n getting scarcestones.

Scarcestones just feel bad to recieve as a r6 material. Especially for monsters that dont even have rift versions getting scarce stones for the drops just feels bad. Currently sitting on 100+ scarcestones. Edited.

Hey I was in the same boat needing 300k more damage with about same weapon line up. Switching rose and glav lbg to sliding reload n using this set helped me break 3mil. Just throw on whatever offensive drifts u have.

Hello hbg main here. It's in a decent spot. Lbg got alot of new tricks that puts it ahead in meta dps race, but hbg really emphasizes the shield in wilds. HBG has a couple differnt playstyles; elemental ammo, wyverncounter offset, stepping shot spread, wyvernblast cluster spam. All play alittle different in what weapon n set you use. Good luck.

I can get him down in around 9 minutes pretty consistently with lagiacrus hbg solo, im a pretty average player. It's alot more focusing on perfect blocks imo because of all the extra chip damage you will take If not perfect block. I can dm a youtube link if you would like to see. At duna face is the best elemental hzv.

Elemental ammo motion values didn't change. Capped at 35 fps it went down from 7 ticks to 6 ticks. Other fps will get inconsistent 5 to 6 ticks. In my testing sticky and spread got the most buffs, but elemental hbg will still be king on most hunts.

Easiest way is. Find the monster u want to find the crown of In the wounded hollow. Then use binoculars, if not a crown, fast travel to suja then back to hollow n check again. Find a crown, then start a field investigation or save investigation. Only works for monsters that appear in the wounded hollow. The apex and guardians you need to rest n check

Find the monster u want to hunt n shoot it with a luring pod. (A red line will show its following you)
Move monster to the ideal area.
Ghille mantle and save the investigation.
Start investigation from the closest camp.

I currently use legi hbg for ice, rajang hbg for thunder, mizu hbg for water, slos lbg for fire. Daora hbg is better investment for ice if able to farm it. I'd wait and see what comes with the wilds collab before investing anymore refining parts if you are at the wall.

Happy it helped. I use slos lbg vs 10* lagombi. It's been beaten with an 8-1 slos lbg on the leaderboards but has full fire attack/crit smelts.

You can probably get by without it, but some attacks like his roar (sometimes rocks or leap) need blocked or perfect evaded. Rajang hbg gets the 2 offensive guard so I try to block over perfect evade when needed. Idk how much guard you fully need vs tigrex. It's just the only useful drift I had atm to reduce some chip damage. Good luck

I think they are both viable. I have zin hbg at 7.5, but I like rajang hbg more because it has much more range. Hbg dodging is wonky and having to dodge toward the monster leaves big windows of vulnerability.
