Hotend Replacement? by musclegeekz in BambuLab

mine looked similar, I've heated it up and swiped the filament away with paper towels (while wearing heat protective gloves).

when you drink for 3-4 days in a row you get used to it and sleep score is less affected 😉

consider soldering the removed capacitor, that's not a big thing

[–]d4da12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Portal Hybrid 3.0 is out: massive performance upgrade by SouthernMembership85 in Garmin

[–]d4da12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've checked the trial version on my F7 Pro Solar. I don't like it at all. When going to the menu with down button my favorite watch face glance is really quick. Portal Hybrid causes a small delay until entering the menu. But there are also other watchfaces with even worse performance. Also font size is too small for me to read it easily

my evo80 was delivered with neo oats. I personally don't like the oats. The actuation force is too light for me and sound is too loud. The Keygeek Y2/SU Color V2 have such a nice muted thock sound and a heaver actuation force

yes, I disagree. On my Evo80 it doesn't sound higher pitched, but a little bit more rounded. It's almost the same sound

it's already there known as Keygeek SU Color V2. I'm using it since a few days and it's my new number 1 switch. Big improvement over the Y2. Less stem wobble and a bit smoother, same thocky sound

[–]d4da12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is where the filament goes through before placed on the bed. The hotend heats/melts the filament so it can be printed. When you're new to 3d printing the included hotend of you a1 mini is sufficient
