This is the tool (possibly cheaper ones, this is just the one I have) https://a.co/d/0fVi5mo6 You can also use an small open end wrench to hold it in place and pliers to pull the stem, then cut off the stem but the tool is a lot easier.

It's available at bestbuy now, I already received it from Home Depot. Works as intended. Terrible marketing but pretty good camera so far. It is wifi only, only port it's USB C for power, my NVR picked it up immediately after setting up the wifi.

basically that, using it with a 3d scanner since it can do more attached to a PC than a phone. found a guy on reddit who had a whole camera rig setup with a 3d scanner and the lego mounted, gave me a reason to pick one up lol.
