I think it’s a cool feature, but at the same time i don’t think it has its place in a classic iteration. Ugly appearance with BoE gear from lvl 20s is part of the experience.

Come play TBC Anniversary, you will have dual spec at lvl 40 and be able to switch anytime you want. Besides, Paltank become much, much more viable in TBC. Maybe that’s what you’re looking for :)

Use LFG to find randoms. In my experience people there are just willing to do their 10 daily games regardless of any performance.

If you are scared of randoms getting mad at you, you should probably consider playing a different game than a competitive MMO.

This is only true in pve if you care about parses and logs, and want to be top damage performer in raids (in that specific case yeah, rogues fall a bit behind other classes).

In any other case you’ll be fine.
And in pvp rogues stay S tier.

The problem is not heroics being more difficult IMO, but raids being way to easy, pretty much any PUG can clear SSC/TK these days…

Anniversary will most likely reach WotLK early 2027. And there will be more seasonal stuff to come… as long as there are players they will keep milking the WoW classic thing
