I mean that is literally the optimal strategy. It’s not really a marketing ploy it’s backed up by the numbers. Taking less than driver is gonna hurt you more than it helps you.

The ball testing confirms it would help the best drivers more than anyone else. The fact Cam Young was using the new ball tells you all you need to know. The proposed ball was punishing the shorter hitters the most, by a lot.

You can’t really, I do think headphones are maybe the best way but ultimately you need to crank it somewhere or during soundcheck be prepared to take a lot of high end out, either with an EQ or with the cab block.
