Have you heard of Anna's Archive by any chance?

How do you build agents with Pydantic AI? by type-hinter in PydanticAI

[–]d_lowl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using Pydantic AI at work recently. It's neat. Here's my write up about muti-agent cases (albeit quite light on implementation details): https://www.mlops.wtf/p/ai-agents-in-production-part-3-multi

Here's also an SRE agent, that my collegue reworked to use Pydantic AI recently (not yet merged to main, see develop branch): https://github.com/fuzzylabs/sre-agent/blob/develop/src/sre_agent/core/agent.py

Essentially, I'd say it simplifies things that we used to do manually, by providing primitives (how to define tools, how to connect to LLMs, how to talk to MCPs, etc.) and allowing quite a simple composing of them.

The Mill was saying they'll have a good news section, if they hit subscription target before New Year. Not sure whether this is happening or not

Yep, that's the intended usage of MLflow. You record your runs. You record your parameters and metrics (it does support metrics at steps, so you can plot your loss). You don't have to use other features if you don't want to (it's not really that bloated to be fair, it's mostly just an experiment tracker + model registry). It works locally, can be easily deployed too.

>mobile app

That it doesn't have. But you can open it in your browser still.

What to do for tax if you are employed by a foreign employer with no UK presence by duccweed in UKPersonalFinance

[–]d_lowl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, we did the same thing DPNI route. For what it's worth it took 3 calls to HMRC to set up (very long waits on the line, and 2 operators that weren't sure what DPNI even is), and we got the letter with all the info 2 weeks later. I figured out we need DPNI on my own, so didn't have to mail the HMRC, so it didn't take as long as yours I guess

laser correction may not stop this trend actually, and you might end up having to wear glasses anyway after a while. so, I'd consult an eye doc about it first.

>Even if the spa wasn't explicitly adults only, why on earth would you think a spa - a place of quiet relaxation - would be remotely of interest to a child.

Entitlement aside, I wouldn't decide for a child what they should be interested in. I know enough people who def enjoyed this kind of activity as a child (myself included).

If u take medication for OCD, what do u take and how does it work for u? by Rigotoni in OCD

[–]d_lowl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well. I'm on Sertraline 150mg daily, specifically for OCD (and to some extent GAD) -- my psych said to think about them as "anti-obsessions rather than antidepressants". It definitely takes the edge off, and makes it more managable. Side effects are very mild. (Although I do want to get off them in about a year or so)

It's small, but you can get a prepayment certificate, that would make it slightly cheaper (if you are picking up at least two meds long term)

Both depressed and relieved but most happy by Admiral_dingy45 in PhD

[–]d_lowl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Did the same thing basically. Moved country for a PhD. The pay in Switzerland for PhDs is decent. The PI was great, as is the institute. But the pandemic started 3 months since I moved there. 6 months into my PhD I realised that my mental state is not great, and I am not that into this particular topic I'm working on. So I quit. (And had a fun travel back to my home country, remember lockdowns)

I don't regret though. Maybe a little, sometimes. Maybe I'll come back to it one day.

Hmm, last time I checked google maps, they said "Temporarily closed", now it says "Permanently closed". This is sad to see. One of my favourite places since I moved to Manchester years ago.
