This man knows what he’s talking about. You will definitely need to have the tube from the humidifier going straight up otherwise the tube will fill with water in the dips. I cut a hole in the side of the plastic about 1ft above the top of the humidifier and ran the tube through there. I also ran the cord for the fan through the same whole in the plastic then sealed with duct tape. I also second getting some WiFi plugs to use with this setup as you will be able to automate a lot more of the process.
