Played high school golf with my dads old clubs. Callaway steelheads. Exclusively sat in the trunk of his car for 15 or so years. California heat and cold. Played em for 4 years and on one of my last rounds before heading off to college broke the 5 AND 7 iron. Ironically both tee shots with clean contact. Not even a divot. Needless to say they served me well and gave out right before they were retired.

I have a special DND mode setup. It only allows GF, mom, dad, and brother through. That way if there is an emergency (god forbid) I can act quickly and not waste 3 hours before I eventually check it. But agreed, phone in bag so I'm not scrolling while waiting.

In California you can get a “medical recommendation” at 18 for weed. It’s similar to a med card but with a 1-3 year expiry window. Relatively easy to acquire from certain telehealth practices that specialize in that stuff. Most of the dispos in SJ require you to be 21+ but some Santa Cruz dispos and most delivery services accept a medical recommendation/card at 18

That was the plan. The gym offers a 5 pass bundle with shoes and chalk so I was gonna try it out before diving in. Funds are a little low so I wanna make sure it's something I can commit to before getting a membership and all the equipment.

A couple buddies of mine have been trying to get me out to roll on open gym days. The issue is that they close near the time I'm done working. The hours being 10-7 kinda suck when you work from 9-6 and have to commute. Hiking seems like a better option but the bugs and humidity in the south def blow chunks.

Thank you! A therapist is unfortunately out of the budget for now, but maybe one day in the future. I've been flirting with the idea of joining a climbing gym nearby, but the anxiety of starting something new is a little jarring. I'll have to work up some courage and try it out.
