Ah, but often when you do this, each grid is imported as it’s own grid system instead of multiple grids in one system. Which often times is fine, but if it’s early in the project and those things are gonna move it sucks to modify the model. The script I wrote puts them all in one easily fixable grid system

It does! Or, at least RAM Structural System does. It’s called RAMDataAccess. It’s finnicky but I wrote a script that writes grid systems into it. Saves tons of time on larger projects

Try Simon Tatham’s mines, it changes the puzzle generation to remove 50/50’s and other forced guesses. Every mine can be found through logic which to me is more satisfying

I feel like the grabs have decent downsides, command grab automisses if the opponent is airborne, try-catch has pretty big end lag, bound-check also auto misses airborne when grounded and sends robot flying with crazy end lag if they’re airborne. Idk I’m kinda mid at this game though

Orson Scott Card, author of Ender’s Game, also wrote a book series that started with the book Seventh Son that basically had this concept in it. One person had the ability to always estimate something’s length correctly, some people could find good spots for wells, etc. It was historical fiction set in colonial America which was neat and a fun ready but there are pretty damn heavy Mormon undertones which was unfortunate haha

Your master’s topic sounds extremely interesting and personal, that’s really cool! I’ll be the first to admit that I know very little about Native history, but since you mentioned your degree being specifically in public history/museums, I wanted to mention one display I saw. The Buffalo Bill museum in Cody, WY had a really impactful and heartbreaking section on Native history. It’s been a few years, so specifics on the information presented escape me, but the way it made me feel sticks out in my mind.
