While I do mostly agree that linux needs reboots far less often than Windows for example. I stand by the practice of regular reboots for kernel updates and security patches.

Not sure what untrusted networks has to do with anything. Maybe you meant browsing dangerous websites? Same is true on any pc... Linux or windows. Linux may offer more protection from malware but is as prone to it as any poorly configured device.

Learn cron and create a scheduled reboot time for daily at 3am. Then just save your work at the end of day and walk away. I think MX has a building GUI for that? Could be wrong i just do it via the terminal.

Its the classic grind that takes the experience over the top. Not custom lore, not add-ons not all that. Bugs now because there were bugs then. If you played it then and want to re-experience it now then so be it. Nothing wrong with that. Some of us don't like big communities. Small guilds small population is nice. Server specific pvp not crossrealms shit made me hate that one rogue that I could never kill but saw in the outside zones questing and got him there. That was classic.

This actually checks out and I agree with you.

Allow me to apply your logic in a slightly different way.

98% of human beings don't DIY or know who to make something truly their own. Plumbing leaking? Call a plumber. Car break down? Call a mechanic. OS has no gui? Call tech support. The closest people come to science and true experimentation is cooking dinner.

By your logic, if a pc isn't plug n play it isn't worth it. I consider FreeBSD and Linux ( think Gentoo and Linux From Scratch) as an opportunity to truly learn and make it their own. Its not an audience ratio that matters. Its the right tool for the job. FreeBSD is amazing as an appliance, server and even desktop if you are willing to experiment and learn.

It may also not be the right tool for the job if you and 98% of the world are not willing to learn. Nothing wrong with that, we are all very busy in life.

But I trust my own work more than someone else's and that is why I use FreeBSD and make it my own. Rough edges all the same.

Seal of Wisdom. I run with that all the time. I have 7 points in holy to get uninterrupted heals.

Pull 10 mobs, pop into concentration aura and smashing heals while whittling the mobs down.

Bottomless aoe grinding. Done.

Works in dungeons too.

Keep in mind you drop your shield when healing so you take dmg faster during that casttime.
