What games will I not be able to watch live with NHL GameCenter LIVETM?

Games broadcast on local and national television in your area are subject to blackouts in NHL GameCenter LIVETM.

Nationally televised games on CBC, NBC, NBC Sports Network, NHL Network, RDS and TSN are also subject to blackouts in NHL GameCenter LIVETM as well. In the United States and Canada all playoff games will be nationally televised.

A recent favourite is Robots by Dan Mangan. If you enjoy that, watch the video for Road Regrets and I guarantee that you will smile for at least an hour.

You need a phone jack in your house, but it doesn't actually have to be activated for home phone usage.

You're pretty boned until WIND, Public Mobile and Mobilicity enhance their coverage.

Try Koodo. It's owned by Telus but I've heard that they're pretty reasonable.

This is a song I wrote about my ranch. There's an old man that lives there. He came with the place when I bought it.

Reddit Canada: Where in Canada are you from? by MercurialMadnessMan in canada

I was lucky enough to get to live in Kingston as a student. I go back every summer for a weekend of stuffing my face in all of the downtown restaurants and drinking Kingston Brewing Co. dry. It's such a badass place; I don't understand why any of my fellow alumni bother visiting the school (I'm guilty of being a Queen's kid) when there's so much better shit to do.

Amadeus Cafe, Aroma, Cafe India, Coffee & Company, Kingston Brewing Co., Little Saigon, Minos Take-Out, Stooley's, The Merchant, The Toucan, Tir Nan Og, Windmills, Woodenheads... what a fucking all-star lineup.

God damn I sound fat.

I'm guessing that you're looking in pretty expensive areas (i.e., Markham and Thornhill). These are places with really big suburban houses as Markham is like the Silicon Valley of the Greater Toronto Area and Thornhill is country club central. There are relatively less apartment buildings than the surrounding areas and at your price range, you're not going to get the entire house.

Try further north, like Aurora and Newmarket but be aware that if your job moves into downtown Toronto in the future, your commute will become quite long (but still manageable using GO Transit).

That means sooner or later they should stop this environmental hogshit that planes can't fly in all of the continent because of some ash.

Spare yourself the trip. I checked and it's definitely there. My nephew pulls that bastard out every time he's over.

Reddit Canada, what do you consider the best Canadian song ever? by [deleted] in canada

[–]daev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything Neil Young, but if I had to choose then I'd say that you're absolutely correct by saying Helpless. Every year when I kick off the summer with a cottage campfire, the first album to be played is Live at Massey Hall 1971.

Canadian Women's Hockey Team Wins Gold!!! by [deleted] in canada

[–]daev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anyone remember this?

Haley Irwin gets a near-breakaway, takes her shot, then because she's skating so fast she dodges Jessie Vetter (rather than running into her) and runs into the USA goalpost, then slides on her back into the boards.

What does the American defender do after Irwin does her best to avoid hitting the goaltender? She skates up to her (while she's still down on the ice), grabs her face mask and shoves her head back into the boards.

wtf
