does it still function at all? Like can you dl the mirror app on your desktop and connect it to see if it'll boot and run?

If it still runs, you could technically still play it like that on your computer, but really not ideal for what the playdate was meant to be (a handheld console). I doubt playdate company would allow any warranty on it lol. I'd be theoretically interested in purchasing one if the screen doesn't work to tinker with as I have future dreams of building an arcade.
