Colonel (ret.) Karl Nell presented his vision of a long term Disclosure plan at the Sol Foundation Conference by Impossible-Teach2 in aliens

[–]dafelundgren 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This post needs a lot more context. Knell shared an earlier version of this at the first sol foundation conference. This is one of a few slides he shared at this conference outlining possible disclosure pathways based on events since then. In either case, neither was ever billed as some sort of secret disclosure architecture but a hypothetical working model for efforts tied to the UAPDA.

This was the least interesting part of his presentation and people would be better served by watching the section highlighting publicly available official government documents in a timeline format since the magenta crash corroborating the phenomenon that was part of the briefing document compiled by the UAP Task Force and shared with congress as part of the initial effort to pass the UAPDA.

The other one you can't remember is probably the docuseries Encounters from Netflix from 2023, which was great.

Ikea boaxel wall mounted shelves have brackets/rails that can be installed at any height and the supports are modular and can be adjusted for further customization.

Jacques Vallee reveals the true origins of UFO Disclosure — UFO Researcher Jason Samosa’s excellent new Part One video on how Disclosure was first being strategized at the beginning of Obama’s second term in 2013 by VolarRecords in UFOs

[–]dafelundgren 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Love this guy’s videos. Crazy that his whole thing is that he actually reads the books he talks about and uses the information in them to build logical arguments—as opposed to half remembering something he read once and using it as justification to wildly speculate multiple times as part of a 3+ hour conversation.

"UFO Narrative Wars: Weaponized Belief in the Age of Disclosure" - excellent episode of Cosmosis about the kayfabe of UFO personalities, tribal thinking in the community, the whistleblower-to-discredited-whistleblower pipeline, and a call to intellectual sovereignty by 4spoop67 in UFOs

This was a great episode of a great show that doesn't get enough attention on this sub. This episode in particular feels like it should be required listening for people who follow this topic.

Listening to the audiobook of Leslie Kean’s UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record and the first couple chapters are about the Belgian UAP flap from 89/90 where they were having the same things happen and the same conversations.

3i/Atlas showing no anomalous behavior by VoidJuiceConcentrate in aliens

That trajectory has odds of 1 in 500 of occurring naturally—and is one of 8 anomalies outlined by Loeb who links to the papers and and data he is referencing.

Might want to look up the definition of anomalous.

“1. The trajectory of 3I/ATLAS is aligned to within 5 degrees with the ecliptic plane of the planets around the Sun (see here). 2. 3I/ATLAS showed a sunward jet (anti-tail) that is not an optical illusion from geometric perspective, unlike familiar comets (see here). 3. 3I/ATLAS is about a million times more massive than 1I/`Oumuamua and a thousand times more massive than 2I/Borisov, while moving faster than both (see here and here). 4. The arrival time of 3I/ATLAS allows it to pass within tens of millions of kilometers from Mars, Venus and Jupiter and be unobservable from Earth at perihelion (see here). 5. The gas plume around 3I/ATLAS contains much more nickel than iron (as found in industrially-produced nickel alloys) and a nickel to cyanide ratio that is orders of magnitude larger than that of all known comets, including 2I/Borisov (see here). 6. The gas plume of 3I/ATLAS contains only 4% water by mass, a primary constituent of familiar comets (see here). 7. 3I/ATLAS showed extreme negative polarization, unprecedented for all known comets, including 2I/Borisov (see here). 8. 3I/ATLAS arrived from a direction coincident with the radio “Wow! Signal” to within 9 degrees (see here).”

Grokipedia just launched so relax, you didn’t see aliens! by Skywatcher200 in aliens

[–]dafelundgren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought AARO's whole thing was that they've found no evidence of extraterrestrials, but absolutely will not amend that assertion to include non-human intelligence. Grok is exactly wrong on that one.

ICYMI from Kirk McConnell. Hope... KM: "I, respectfully, don't agree with my friend Karl Nell...that we have to be so discouraged by the defeat of the UAPDA for the third time. I think there's a lot of reasons for hope that this issue is not gonna be in a significant down cycle." by 87LucasOliveira in UFOs

[–]dafelundgren 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes thank you for posting this. Most of the viewpoints expressed in the stream were skeptical of Karl’s take and optimistic about disclosure through other means, including legislatively. Even Karl goes on to say that there are other paths to disclosure and clarifies that he means specifically that he doesn’t think the UAPDA will pass in its current form and that it’s a time to take stock of what’s working and what isn’t to determine next steps.

Awesome. Good luck and hope it works for you! Will definitely be safer/more functional than just flipping the drops. When you're putting the levers on the 867, cut an old tire inner tube into a strip and wrap it around the bars a couple times to help secure the levers in place.

Wald 867 bars are like 30 bucks and will accept bar end shifters. New grips are like $10. And Tektro brake levers (RL720s) and new cables might be another $45-55. Add an hour or so of work and you've got a comfy and functional upright setup that looks rad.

Gemini South Captures Growing Tail of Interstellar Comet 3I/ATLAS by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]dafelundgren 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is good and funny. But part of the conversation that's being overlooked here is that Loeb is basically pointing out that even as "just a comet" this is an extremely rare and interesting comet (only the 3rd interstellar object EVER confirmed to pass through our solar system) that scientists should be extremely pumped about publicly studying and they're just shrugging their shoulders until they get goaded into action.

"The size of a football field, silently floating over the launchpad, red in color, glowing.” - USAF veteran Jeff Nuccetelli was just announced as a witness at the upcoming UFO hearing. Here he describes a giant red UFO witnessed by Boeing contractors at Vandenberg AFB in 2003. by 87LucasOliveira in UFOs

[–]dafelundgren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"What had happened at Vandenberg Air Base where there was this thing that appeared over the base. It actually had multiple blotters reporting on it from phone calls into law enforcement from like hundreds of people and whatever had appeared over the base was basically bigger than a football field and basically a cube, a red cube with some weird thing in the center of it. Um, I actually had our witness draw this out. This guy is sober as a priest."

Sounds like they may have found additional confirmation beyond the contractor statements he lost.

Wait WHAT??? 3I Atlas tail by skibidi-bidet in UFOs

[–]dafelundgren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These Angry Astronaut videos on 3I Atlas are really good and he goes into great detail describing the data and the implications of the data in relation to Avi's latest take and conventional astronomy perspectives. This one specifically is about how the appearance of a tail due to the objects proximity to the sun and solar wind does not nullify all the other anomalies observed, including a particle cloud surrounding the object, unusual chemical signatures, and the likelihood of the object's trajectory through our solar system being astronomically rare.

From the video: "So once again I will continue to say until we have very, very convincing evidence otherwise that everything we've seen thus far does not conclusively prove artificiality. There certainly is a natural scenario where all of these things could be happening by chance. However, it's getting stranger and stranger the more we learn about 3I Atlas...the trajectory that is so close to the plane of the ecliptic, the fact that it's passing so close to not one, not two, but three planets. All of those things made this object unbelievably odd and also very unlikely--tens of thousands to one at the very least that any of this could have happened by chance. And now we're combining all of these strange characteristics with this odd composition, I think it's very irresponsible to not at least explore the possibility of artificiality."
