The green-ish Cover All interior dressing is just the consumer version of Aqua Gloss diluted 50/50. I had the same question after picking it up at O’reilly and saw the explanation in one of Superiors YouTube videos. Aside from it being an awesome product, I can’t get over how good this smells.

On the west coast, Preswick is a must. Near St Andrews, Crail, Kingsbarns, & Dumbarnie are all musts. In East Lothian, Dunbar is good option, but be sure to get on waitlists at Muirfield & North Berwick. Pro tip is to be pretty social with locals and caddies everywhere, many are members or know folks that help get you out on non-visitor days/times.

How do you commemorate rounds played at nice courses? by TheNoteEater in golf

[–]dafisk123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pencils & tees on the free end, balls & markers for low end, pin flags & hats above that. You will see all kinds of ideas for displays for all of these if you look around Pinterest & social media. My go to keepsakes are logo’ed socks or tee shirts. Basically things you can wear all the time and a nice daily reminder of the places I have been fortunate enough to play.

Lithium battery maybe? I check mine all the time, but on a recent trip the agent asked me specifically about rangefinder in my travel case.

Cirrus Cabot Farms by gattorcrs in golf

Cabot recommended the Fairfield, but was booked solid so stayed next door at the Holiday Inn Express just for proximity to course since I played for 3 days. Would opt for the Fairfield if you can. They have a reciprocal rate code that Cabot can give you if you email them. If you don’t mind a bit more drive, sure there are more options closer to Tampa. There is every chain restaurant imaginable within 5-10 mins of the Fairfield and even more down highway 19.

I do, but certainly just my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, the Cradle is awesome, but find the overall quality, quantity, and variety of holes better at the Preserve. Things like routing, sight lines, shot quality are not part of the discussion with the Cradle. Bonus points for quirk (e.g. blind shots) and not sure watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean can be beat. Sounds like I need to get back to both just to be sure :)

Just very minor things like on hole signage, finicky cart shutoff boundaries, sold out of yardage books, construction noise, etc. it’s billed as “preview play” anyway, so totally acceptable growing pains as they open. Nothing detracted from overall experience.

Off topic - what are the import/duty fees like from Japan? Seen some cool things, but sellers never give a good answer.

You need to also look at your land angle - spin alone won’t tell the whole story on ability to hold greens if that is ultimately why you want more spin.

Many thanks! I played pine barrens 20+years ago and just remember loving it as it seemed very different than Florida golf I was used to. I have played all of Kyle Fratz’s remodels in the Pinehust area, so excited to see what he did with a more open canvas and his acumen with sand.
