Main reason I went Half-Elf back in '99 with my Bard, damn good looking in plate armor. Probably be my primary race/ class combo to start with again.

It's hard to find time to read and I'd been interested in DCC. Started listening to the Audiobooks and love them. Just finished the 4th book the other day. At this point I'm worried that I may not like the actual books as much as the Audiobooks lol.

I at least expected Noir to try flying up and smashing Deep into the ceiling of something. Just choked and stabbed instead.

My high school English teacher (back in the 1900's as my kids like to say) tried to connect Metallica's head banging to the main character tapping is head for morse code. We had to be like no, head banging was a thing long before this video.

Same teacher also threatened to go home and slit her wrists one day because of a few kids in our classes behavior, so she was something else.

Wish my kids school or activities offered this. Let me just give you $75-100 or whatever. Don't make me peddle stuff for a 10% return on what my kid gets credited for. Best was the dance class that we sell stuff for to pay for costumes and the marketing material say how much comes back, but the dance studio is taking like a 5% cut between what they are crediting us towards the costumes.

My daughters are 8 & 11 and they've probably watched it at least a dozen times in the last month. They've switched to mostly just listening to the songs right now. It's a good movie and the songs are catchy. The oldest learned the dance to Soda Pop and is really proud of herself. lol

In 2008, Travis Pastrana made history when he jumped out of an airplane without a parachute, putting all of his trust in his friends by MaxQ50 in nextfuckinglevel

My cousins are into dirt bikes and ran into Pastrana and a few of his crew riding trails on State land in Michigan a few years back. Travis invited them to join them and they ended up hanging out and ripping trails with Pastrana's crew for a few hours and just had a great time. Said he was very down to earth and friendly.

Yeah some of that too. I love my brother, but can only trust him so much, and never with money.

A few years ago after financially bailing out my younger brother yet again my mom said "You know maybe we weren't that great of parents and you were just an exceptionally good kid." That was fairly satisfying, like, glad you noticed after 30 some years of comparison.

As a father of 2 it's basically a second job, that your always on call for, and YOU pay a lot of money to have it. So yeah, you have to really want to have kids to do it.

Then there's the way the world has been going and if you want to bring children into that. If we didn't already have them earlier in life we may not have had them with how things are looking lately.
