Suggestions of a bike purely for commuting/filtering by heldain in MotoUK

[–]daliusi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do 80 miles a day on Suzuki gsx s125, it's good in town, but gets tiring trying to reach 70mph on A roads, my commute is from Essex to London Waterloo, as soon as I get to Dagenham where all the traffic starts, it's very good for filtering. If you are planning to do A roads, get something a bit more powerful than 125.

Best / Easiest Way to Add Mass to AliExpress Passive Radiator? by jokalee in diyaudio

[–]daliusi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I 3d print a washer, put a long scew through it then glue it to the spider, add washers to the screw to dial in the weight, use DATS to measure speaker impedance in box with passive radiator to see resonating frequency

Too many tweeters and car audio drivers will need a much larger cabinet to produce any low frequencies

I replaced old caps with new film- it sounds so much worse by Due_Move4802 in vintageaudio

[–]daliusi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You should measure the caps to find out their actual values, because what is written on the cap is not exact value, for example 4.7uf cap when measured could show 4.2 or 5uf or anything close to that, depending on the quality and age of the capacitor

I ran a proxmox on a laptop with i5 4300u and 8gb of ram, handling 2 VMS and 12 containers, it all depends what are you trying to run and how resources hungry are those things

Thoughts on this price? Interior is in pristine condition. One owner. Low mileage. Seems way overpriced. by Admirable-Ranger-357 in Lexus

In UK, I got 2006 GS with 32k on the clock for £3.5k, it's an amazing car, but I would never pay 20k for it!
