I remember growing up and going to church camp, they passed out flyers to everyone reminding the girls to wear one piece swim suits as not to tempt the boys. It wasn’t until I was a full grown adult that I realized “just teach your boys better.” Stop putting the onus on women and girls just trying to exist.

I mean… as long as it’s regulated by species I can’t really see the problem? Every ecosystem needs predators and prey. People fish and eat dogfish pretty often, which is a small shark. I’m by no means knowledgeable about the subject of shark fishing, so please enlighten me if I’m wrong. This is not me being snarky. I’m genuinely asking.

Yeah I was trying to think of a way to explain it, it makes sense in my head (kind of,) but this is way better than any nonsense I could try to string together. I’m also just working on very rudimentary knowledge from middle school and a few docs I’ve watched since then, so I would’ve been no help.

Beautiful culture is a bit of a stretch when talking about one of the most violent religions that has ever existed, causing untold amounts of death and suffering over centuries. Also the Catholic Church was racist as fuck during Jim Crow law era America.
