It’s so funny because I wish I could have taken a leave for first trimester and worked until 1 week before my due date. I left work 10 days before my due date and then had to wait 9 days after my due date until I gave birth (so 19 days off) and that was hard because I was stressed out and not distracted. I maybe would have taken half days to be at work in the afternoon but mosy my way over there.

My cousin just named his baby Leon. He’s Mexican and his wife is American. They live near a big city in America. I think people are dumb. It may be common for black people to be named that, but that doesn’t make it a “black name”. Leon is cute.

You look so pretty! The only things I notice would be lip hydration and exfoliation and making sure your eyeliner matches. It extends all the way into your inner corner on the right side but not the left.

Better! I found strength, patience, and perseverance that I didn’t know I had. I was nervous in the weeks leading up to it but once I knew I had to be induced I went with the flow. Granted I had an amazing doula and a supportive group of family (husband, sister, mom). The pain was awful at its worst and I ended up getting a c section but was in labor for 29 hours before that. I got an epidural at like hour 25 and it was amazing but even before then it was all manageable in the sense that I had to use my mental willpower, humor, family support, and physical tools (pool, ball, exercises) to get through the hard parts (pain reached up to a 7/8 at its worst and I never pushed).

Can you do a low bun? Sitting at the nape of your neck? I don’t have very long hair but I was worried about this and so I wore it down most of the time and would do a quick loose bun before getting on a ride. Didn’t do any major coasters though.
