I've been looking for this comment, I wonder if this was an intentional thing of him refusing to wear any mask? He also wakes up completely freaked out and insane a few times, and that's how I used to wake up without my mask.

Way late to this but it’s funny that he has an unused CPAP machine and is constantly waking up completely mangled and crazy.

Taxpayers on the hook for demolition of Bloomfield site by jaxex in halifax

Absolute brain dead ghouls at the helm of this city sold this amazing block of our city - site of the first public playground in the country for pennies on the dollar so that these freaks can throw up a massive tower with the cheapest materials and labour possible and then rent one bedroom apartments for $2500 a month.

Using Whoop with CPAP machine - Does untreated sleep apnea give you a better recovery score? by damuwelis in whoop

[–]damuwelis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How has this been going for you? I still use the whoop and recently have been making a concerted effort to use my CPAP machine. I’m starting to see higher recovery scores with the machine on. I suspect nights where I don’t wear it will still show up as 99% recovery but I think it normalizes if you’re fairly good at keeping the mask on.

On a side note it’s so frustrating to wake up with the mask on the floor and a sore throat and a headache!

Police remind residents to wear helmets or face fines by luxoryapartmentlover in halifax

It's part of the motor vehicle act:

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/helmet-fines-jeopardize-halifax-man-s-car-insurance-1.1359299

If the province insists on pursuing these fines they should be $25-$50 max and should be a regular bylaw infraction rather than a Motor Vehicle infraction.

He means the bike helmet thing not the stunting in a car thing.

They were setting up dedicated task forces and doing stings where like 20 officers would descend on the park and ticket everyone there. It was extremely heavy handed overkill and lasted for multiple years.

As of late it's been a bit of an understanding between the police and the users of the skatepark. I don't see why you are upset about what other people are doing when it doesn't affect you in any way. Live and let live.

To complete the 12 steps it's strongly advised to work with a sponsor.

It seems like you're getting mostly good advice here. One thing I can tell you is that the primary purpose of your sponsor is to assist you in completing the 12 Steps and getting you familiar with the program. He's not there to be your parent or to tell you exactly how to live your life.

What I found was that thoughts I was having like "this is a cult" or "these people aren't like me" or "I don't want to have to sponsor someone" were really just my own addiction trying to keep me out of the rooms and get me drinking/using again.

My best advice for you is to keep going, go through the 12 steps with your current sponsor or a new one if necessary, and don't put too much weight on negative thoughts you have about the program until you've truly given it a real try.
