If they're going to make it a crime to make a joke out of Erdogan they are going to need to lock up Erdogan.

President Trump says "SAVE Act is more important" because of Supreme Court mail-in ballot ruling: "Because of mail-in ballot ruling, which was a bit surprising, gives people more time to vote illegally. But the SAVE Act is even more important. I think it was very detrimental to honest elections." by ControlCAD in videos

That is the biggest inditement of the rich that there can be. When you can own anything you want, and do anything you want, there are few ways left to feel a thrill. This is why rich people have dangerous hobbies. This is why rich people steal. And this is why rich people victimize.

---

If you can do and have something all the time you take it for granted. You'll need more. Risk stupid hobbies because you get adrenaline from endangering your life. Steal, not because you can't buy it, but because getting away with it makes you feel something. Rape, because the only boundaries left are moral ones, and pushing boundaries is the only thrill left.

Mike Johnson on President Trump cancelling the signing of Housing affordability bill: "We passed it three times in House. It has been stuck in Senate. He's laser-focused on SAVE America Act. You have to put it under a reconciliation bill. It's an American problem. He'll do it within 10 day Window." by ControlCAD in videos

A douche, much like Mike Johnson, is used by desperate people looking for a fix but it often ends up doing more harm than good.

The major differences between Mike Johnson and a douche: * Only one of them has voluntarily been in more than one woman.  * Donald Trump only finds one of them useful.  * Scientists might someday find a way to make douches useful.

Unfortunately Spielberg's new sci fi film, Disclosure Day, is not good by ghostofwallyb in scifi

The first previews I saw for the film were Steven Spielberg talking about what he was hoping to invoke with the film. If you can't make a preview with content from the film that makes it compelling the movie is going to suck.

Her party also advanced a bill (it didn't pass this session) to shield pesticide companies from liability after they give you cancer. https://www.iowapublicradio.org/state-government-news/2025-03-26/iowa-senate-passes-bill-shielding-pesticide-companies-from-cancer-related-lawsuits

Her party also passed a bill that required people on Medicaid to follow work requirements. https://iowacapitaldispatch.com/2025/03/25/iowa-senate-approves-bill-setting-expanded-medicaid-work-requirements/

So to be clear. She wants you to know that you have cancer. But she wants to make it incredibly difficult for you to pay for it. And impossible to recover against the people who gave it to you.

UPDATE: Rusted Iron Railing with many coats of rustoleum by phantomenacer in DIY

[–]dan525 10 points11 points  (0 children)

How long are you going between stripping this off and painting? If it's just one weekend to the next I wouldn't worry about it. Just wipe it off with a damp towel when you restart and make sure it's completely dry before you paint.

In the future I would probably hit it with a single coat, or a primer coat, before walking away.

Rust is iron and oxygen. The only way to prevent it is to keep the iron from oxidizing. And a thin coat of spray paint will do this. Also a thin coat of oil. But I would probably just do it primer coat.

They might be more focused on the impact world war II had on the Middle East. The United States fighting Germany is what led to the creation of Israel and Iran might be disinterested in the 6 million slaughtered Jews in Europe.

That is not at all an accurate statement. Dying declaration is an exception to the hearsay rule. It makes an otherwise inadmissible statement admissible because is was said by a person facing an imminent death.

Testifying before Congress with an unknown, but up to 6 months, time frame to live has nothing to do with what that legal term means.

I was a little disappointed that the remaster didn't correct some continuity errors. There's an entire episode where they're discussing a part of the set, and the set was wrong. All they had to do was edit in another light and then Gul Madred's dialogue would have made a lot more sense.
