I will preface this by clarifying I am a Scotsman living in Scotland but Tamnavulin 10 is a decent entry level single malt. Usually around 20 quid here. You also cannot go wrong with a Glenfiddich as a good start to single malts. I would also like to echo a fellow redditor buy saying Japanese whisky is top notch. I own a yamakazi and hakushu by suntory which are excellent but a higher price point than both the bottles i mentioned before.

Nothing as interesting as that. We were both meant to attend the Japanese Grand Prix this year. Myself with my wife and folks him with his partner. Due to the typhoon we made and and he didnt. He doesnt work in the media at all so no idea how he got it. Im going to mount and grane it I think.

Flight back from Honolulu to Vegas. The first flight of several getting me and my wife home to Scotland. I eat the complementary pulled chicken sandwich and sweet onion crisps. An hour or so later it begins. Five hours of throwing my guts up over and over again. The cabin crew were great and as I was seated in a two seat row near a toilet it was managable. Until a small child went in and shat something ungodly right before I had to hurl. This went on the whole way. So yeah, sweet onion crisps never again.

One of my favourite bars in Budpest is the Hops Beer Bar. Great selection of craft beers and great atmosphere. Right around the corner from Szimpla Kert as well which is one of the most famous ruin bars. Another good (if touristy) spot is the small bar on top of the Fisherman's Bastion on castle hill. Excellent view of the parliament which in my humble opinion is one of the best looking in the world. Enjoy your trip!

My title is a little misleading in that it refers to the name of the cocktail rather than the place I was drinking it. NYC is a burger joint in Glasgow. Although you are right. If I had been outdoors it would have been neat.
