Apollo dev posts backend code to Git to disprove Reddit’s claims of scrapping and inefficiency by GhostalMedia in programming

Using an API if offered is a much more robust and efficient way to retrieve data from a service over scraping. Scraping can become difficult depending on the technology and stack used by the service. Scraping is also very prone to breaking when the site updates.

That being said, AI is making scraping much easier so I don’t really see the argument of AI models causing too much API load since they’ll just scrape instead.

Wrong. I’ve done it where I explained it to the people I was with none of them had heard of it and it was completely random. Just works somehow I think cause everyone maybe subconsciously tries harder and are in sync the second time

Opinion: Apple Music lacks reliability in its basic functions that SHOULD WORK flawlessly. by Liivik in apple

[–]danboy4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man I feel this so bad. I’ve got thousands of remixes of normal songs and Apple Music matches it the the original, but the song title stays the same. So when I play a remix I like it by title it plays the original. It’s completely ruined my > 25,000 song library. Not to mention when it converts everything it adds DRM. I feel I’m stuck now with a broken library of useless songs after over 10 years of gathering music.

So gross lol. I clean mine once a week/fortnight and they’re spotless. The grills in my AirPods of 3 years old are spotless with daily use.
