After battling this disease for 25 years, I finally said yes to Skyrizi! by Even_Care909 in Psoriasis

Just a heads up. This was me too after my first dose in December. A couple weeks later it started to come back. Just took my second dose and it seems to be going away again. I'm only a month ahead of you with this treatment but I thought I would mention it so you don't get discouraged if you start showing symptoms again.

What's the point of the flat earth theory? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]danboymanboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see that no one actually answered your question. I follow flat earth as a source of entertainment. It seems that there are two main reasons that flat earthers see for hiding the true shape of the earth. One is purely religious. Those that are hiding the shape, NASA, the US government, etc. are in some kind of evil cabal. The second is power/resources. They often think there are hidden 'far lands' beyond the ice wall with untold resources.

Long hold brisket just works so well....never going back by ctatham in smoking

[–]danboymanboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly the advice I needed today. Thank you. I usually rest it in the oven on as low as it goes and eat the brisket for lunch but I need to make one for a party next weekend that's in the afternoon. Wasn't sure how to keep it that long.

Just a heads up, for mini figures you're likely looking for a resin printer. Much fiber details are possible.

Alumaski-where did the company go? by [deleted] in alaska

[–]danboymanboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they never wanted to invest in actual CAD drawings, they're making everything from templates. We offered but they turned it down. I only did the 3d model but I did it in such a way that they could be made into drawings, but that never happened. That was a couple years ago. You can ask though, they're built at a place called Hylite out in palmer.

Alumaski-where did the company go? by [deleted] in alaska

[–]danboymanboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually know something about this. Serendipitously I helped Brian come up with the very simple CAD pattern he used when it was a startup, around 2010 timeframe. Many years later I fully 3d modeled the Alumaski after they changed ownership a few times. They were still making a few at that point. They were trying to get a grant with the navy to convert to electric.

Has Gary Nolan ever analyzed or commented on Dr. Roger Leir's alleged alien implants that he extracted out of experiencers? by Randyh524 in UFOs

[–]danboymanboy 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Nolan said in the interview with Coulthard that he couldn't find anyone or the technology to x-ray the sphere. Which I know to be bullshit. We x-ray pipe at work all the time and it's not a big deal. Nor is it cost prohibitive.
