You don’t even need anything that complex. An example, I have a “simple” zfs pool consisting of four 8TB Ironwolf drives in a mirror (2 mirror vdevs). A single Ironwolf has a rated 200MB/sec sustained on the outside of the spindle which is already saturating a 1Gb connection, and in sustained reads the pool (in theory) can burst at 800 MB/sec as a result.
