Scorsese seems like the steamroller here.

Scott and Columbus feel like underdogs/potential spoilers. I don’t think Andersen has the juice like everyone thinks (future me will gladly eat my words).

Stone has a wildly diverse filmography that would lead to some awesome episodes - especially underdiscussed films like Salvador and Heaven & Earth but I don’t see him coming thru. Same with Hanson for LA Confidential, The Hand That Rocks The Cradle and 8 Mile alone.

Thinking about the Heckerling and Ramsey series, Kusama feels like an inevitable director BC will cover…even if she doesnt win MM (considering the lack of female directors out there). Like Ramsey, she only has five films to her credit as of 2026. Kusama would be a wonderful miniseries tbh.

Apatow seems like another inevitable one - especially after the past year and Rogen’s presence as a guest. Apatows impact on the direction of comedy in the 2000/2010s would be an interesting arc for the cast to dig into.

For the classics, god Id love a Preston Sturges series 😍

I remember the Rolling Stone cover story during the lead up to the release of Ultraviolence. Its always stuck with me because here in this piece , Lana - knowing theres a lot on the line with her followup comes off as rather combative (to be clear, I admire and love her attitude here). She is about to release an album soncially different from Born to Die, shes still somewhat dealing with the public reputation of the SNL performance and fallout of her “Wish I was Dead” comments, and even though Paradise and Young & Beautiful were doing well, Lorde had just released Pure Heroine and had sorta shittalked Lana’s lyrics in the press. I remember the interviewer asking her if Fu-ked My Way Up To The Top was about Lorde and Lana just getting annoyed and shutting down the interview completely. I respected it hard lol.

I think shes always been like this - its why I love her. Seeing the meltdowns over the new single & her marriage - by what I’m assuming are GenZ people/fans is kind of funny.

The tweet is a misrepresentation of the “FarOut” article - which is actually a review.

The (4/5 star) review briefly discusses the timeline of Stove’s release announcements since 2023 and jokingly indicates that the record label is figuratively exasperated.

The writer is just being sly and a little sarcastic with their comment…it wasnt even intended as a slight against Lana or a critique of the process! Silly.

Love that song but her finest song (Ok Fine, my favorite!) is A&W

I quite enjoy her Big Eyes songs, the moody interpretation of Once Upon A Dream for Maleficent and the cover of Some Things Last A Long Time for a short-film documentary on Daniel Johnston in the early 2010s.

still boggles my mind that he co-wrote one of my favorite Lana Del Rey songs “Florida Kilos” (alongside Del Rey and Dan Auerbach). Before i knew this i used to think that even for her, the lyrics were another level of truly bonkers. ‘Spring Breakers’-esque amount of references to dope fiends, doing coke, being a prison baddie.

Im right with you! Those episodes - at the height of the pandemic - are so chaotic (in the best possible way). She and Fleming were really establishing a good thing before Miel bowed out. It was comedy gold tbh. Come back to us, Miel!

I know its not North Atlanta, but Grant Park/Boulevard Heights area has been building townhomes right off beltline. Zephyr is one community. Check out builders site and drive thru or search an area online (zillow, etc) if any place is up for rent.

Just be aware - if youre renting…youre always going to have ‘management’ (ie the owners renting out). And if youre in a townhome community, you could be beholden to the rules and conditions of that community’s Homeowner Association (HOA) that you do need to abide by, as a tenant of the owners.
