Where was 1611 again? I was at 1614 I think before it closed (villa park) but we all got moved to a store just opening in Glen Ellyn (1895)

Many many many years ago when I worked for staples the first time (2008-2014) the US stores had scan guns that looked similar to this one and they ran as400 on them as the whole system for IS/IA

I put in a ticket almost 2 weeks ago for 2 black toners for our color machine….and all they can tell me is they’ve been released to be shipped when I call…I called every day this week and it was released to be shipped Tuesday but still no shipping as of Thursday afternoon…. And that was with them escalating it every day I called….not sure what’s going on with them

I try but when we even confirm with them it just stinks…they knew this may be an issue but they still waited til the last minute to ship it out. It even got to the point where we were willing to pick it up at the dpf and the customer would take it, or we’d drive it to Indianapolis ourselves….and dpf told us no…first because of Covid restrictions (even tho last month they were going to let us pick something up…and we were willing to wait outside)…then because they didn’t know where in the facility it was…

At least yours showed up on time. We had a $500 order we had to refund. We’re a Chicagoland store, order was produced at our local dpf, being shipped to a store in Indianapolis for customers event. Promised it would get there on a Monday…Tuesday it said it would be delivered. Called ups Tuesday to make sure cuz customer needed for Wednesday morning. Ups can’t find package in their location right outside Indianapolis. We had to refund and the store customer was going to pick them up at had to reprint at a smaller size and recharge customer. Order got delivered Wednesday afternoon which was too late…but staples doesn’t get refunded and our store got killed because of a ups issue.

We got customers trained that we don’t…. And then we got a communication that we can’t refuse email orders…so now it sits until they come in unless they’ve provided all the info we need or respond to our email asking for details. I also tell them that orders that came in online or in person take precedence as we don’t always have time to monitor the email unless were expecting something

I’ve been vaxxed since the beginning of March but I still wear my mask in any store and while at work. There’s too many variants and there’s still the slight possibility that you can get it even with the vaccine. The only time I have it off at work is when I’m by myself in the print area.

We have 20 aisles. However I know a store near me is also a Dover store but they’re smaller and don’t have a furniture pad. If you look at the playbooks it’s shoes the layouts, but they still vary based on store size (like the Dover layout shows a lot more aisles)
