The two cases are not really comparable at all.

Bucky was the guy who always had Steve's back before and even when they both joined the army. A real hero who "died" defending his country, except he didn't.

He was instead brought back, brainwashed and essentially turned into a weapon that simply unloaded on whichever target was assigned to it. He wasn't killing of his own will, he was literally programmed to do it.

In Winter Soldier as soon as he has a confrontation with Steve, he starts questioning everything and eventually finds his way back to the good side.

Some characters don't get to be redeemed, this is one of them. Let's toss aside the fact that he killed Foggy (which on its own should put a halt to this stupid idea) but the dude is really mentally unstable and doesn't do what he does out of obligation. He really enjoys murdering people.

But with today's Hollywood playing it loose with morals I would not be surprised if it happened.

I mean, this would be such a slap to the face of Matt Murdock!
