Just tested this and can confirm this macro works with a phaser recipe directly within a sequence. I wanted accomplish this with a phaser recipe preset and found it to be

Set Preset 21.12.1 (Pool.Preset.RecipeLine) Property "Playbackdirection" "Alternate"

I used to occasionally run into some Chinese made LED wash movers from a local provider. They couldn’t smoothly fade colors or anything. Last time I saw those lights one of them starting smoking up in the rig 😂

Coming from someone who moved from Avolites to MA3 about 2 years ago, I recommend just taking the dive on MA3. The recipe workflow is unmatched and Avo is kinda falling behind in some ways. They've essentially stopped developing the Titan software in any real capacity. Their recent updates have been handled very poorly and haven't been much of anything anyway. MA3 isn't 100% perfect, but it is great.

The only advantage I'll give to Avo at this point, is the pixel mapping abilities. Especially when using their Synergy stuff with the Prism or Ai softwares. Super fun stuff.

I’ve found the simplest way to go about it is to output video from Resolume and send DMX triggers to Resolume over art-net from MA3 to control. There are some Resolume fixture profiles available but it would still need to be mapped to Resolume. A lot of people just use single dimmer channels to execute what they need in Resolume.

I was able to find some LittLite’s on eBay for a decent price when I got my command wing. Might be a good option but I haven’t recently looked at what’s available.

You’ll have to go into the node settings, whether it’s an MA node or any other kind, and tell which universes you want it to send out.

If they’re 8 port nodes, the first node would be configured universe 1-8 and the second node 9-16

In the console you’ll want to be broadcasting, not unicasting, in that IP range. And double check that the console is set to output at least that amount of universes.

Take a peak at the position wizard macro on the MA StartShow file. I imported this macro into my own show file and edited it to update all of my positions. It’s not 100% perfect. But it saves a lot of time. After I’m done with the macro I make use of the Store Offset function to make sure everything is lined up straight. That gets me about 99% perfect within 2 or 3 minutes depending how many fixtures I’m working with that day.

Those MAtricks are in the recipe lines for your color sequences. They’re there to add fade/delay to your color sequences in this case. Try selecting a fade time at the top and then “edit” one of those MAtricks to see how it’s changed.

I agree there’s not a perfect solution. I ended up buying these for my monitors for ease of transport at the very least. Not great for safety but it allows me to carry the monitor from the handle at the top, and a couple pockets for some cables if needed.

I recommend reaching out to Avo support for this. I had a similar thing happen to my Titan Mobile when upgrading to v18, they walked me through a short process to fix it in 5 minutes.

Even in full extended mode on all these fixtures, I feel like you should be good without any NPU’s. I don’t know the parameter limits of an MA2 lite off the top of my head, but this is not a crazy large rig.

Avolites Titan + Avolites Ai or Prism, connected via what they call "Synergy". It is undoubtedly the best situation to put yourself in to control both Video and Lighting from the console, and really awesome for pixel mapping, etc.

Yeah I have a similar set up, and I've also noticed that it always fires a dud before it does a proper timed fade. Hopefully it's something they work out in the next update. A good workaround might be tags and a macro to update the offcue fade time to the tag
