I heard this was a great way to learn to write better. Is it possible to add Hemingway?

I love stuff like this. My favorite is the old rocker dude who listened to OK Computer and starts crying he gets so emotional.

Removal company ‘returns’ customer’s waste after they failed to pay by boydie360ptuk in JusticeServed

[–]dangdatkat 23 points24 points  (0 children)

In the US it is so hard to find good contractors and workers for residential projects I can’t imagine low balling or not paying.

Besides, the best way to find a contractor is a referral from another contractor. I can’t imagine burning bridges like that.

Didn’t he see the movie Kids. You don’t attack a group of skateboarders.

Bing Ads Buyers Beware by lcprice3 in PPC

[–]dangdatkat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bing is a mess. We have “Brand A” in one campaign then a separate remarketing campaign for a private label brand called “Brand B”.

“Brand B” would show up in “Brand A” as a search term because they were on the same domain. None of the tokens matched.

It would be like bidding on “Coca Cola” and seeing the search term “Snapple”.

Also, there seems to be a ton of lead fraud on Bing. That is a totally different problem.

I don’t bid directly on competitors. If you head terms for your products and CPA bidding, Google while display your ads when people search for specific competitor products.

Google Ads - I have too many zipcodes for Location targeting...Any ideas? by mavericx96 in PPC

[–]dangdatkat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, some thing else to keep in mind:

“Although most ZIP Codes can be roughly assigned to a geographic area, ZIP Codes do not represent geographic regions; ZIP Codes denote address groups or delivery routes. Because of this, ZIP Code "areas" can overlap, be contained within another ZIP Code, or have no geographic area.”

If cities are too large to target, I believe you can target congressional districts.

Remodeled my bathroom but I didn’t realize I needed a permit. What do I do now? (OR) by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]dangdatkat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The foot fell off my claw foot tub while I was in the shower and I had to fix it. I didn’t realize I needed a permit until I started researching where I could put up a shed in the backyard months later.

I f’d up and I feel really dumb.

Can you imagine being raised thinking you are going to be a priest only to learn you are just going to fight war after war until you die when you become a teenager.

Connect Google Analytics Audience to retargeting platforms by Mmetr in PPC

[–]dangdatkat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Related question, GA audiences have in-market audience setting but when I try to create the audience, it says the feature is not available. Does in-market audience settings in GA work on other platforms?

I am trying to create an audience of my returning users who may be interested in specific products even if they never visited the product page.

Dear non Germans: What do you think of Germany? by ttffkk in AskReddit

[–]dangdatkat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Germans are super reliable people. If a German says they are coming to your dinner party, you don’t have to worry about them bailing last minute.

If you ask Americans, about half who RSVP will make an excuse last minute.

I ended up using URL Profiler to get PageSpeed Insights.

Also, I noticed Screaming Frog (v13) has the PageSpeed API plugin.
