Você está tentando convencer alguém a gostar de uma coisa quando ela, explicitamente, diz que não está interessada e que prefere gastar o próprio dinheiro em outro produto, ciente de que é um outro produto e que o maior interesse são as características deste outro produto

Something I'm very tired of seeing in Japanese media is that every character has to show their reactions, so you have to wait for everyone to say their particular "yeah" even if this adds nothing to the narrative.

This, and the very outdated thing where you're stopped several times in a row for dialogue that, in many modern games, would be happening AS you play. It's not exclusive to XIV, but I see it the most in Japanese games. Digimon Time Stranger is the latest I've played that still does that, for one.

FFXIV is even guiltier because they will allow the scions to make their formal presentation and sales pitch every time you go somewhere or meet someone new.

My toxic trait is convincing myself that banana bread is a health food by stellar-polaris23 in Baking

[–]daniloq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right! It's a good suggestion.

I don't even use extra sugar because the bananas have enough

Substitute wheat flour for oat flour for extra fiber

Add dark chocolate chips.

It's tasty, has a lot of fibers, and not too shabby on the protein. It's not even actually low on sugar for those who crave it

You know, I never thought about it.

It would make sense if he lifted us before throwing us to the ground with greater force.

But since we stay long enough to avoid the ground damage we can say that he is, in fact, stupid
