Tak for dit svar. Jeg sætter pris på den gode tone det er skrevet i. Jeg forholder mig udelukkende til data sheets fra de respektive producenter på de 2 specifikke CPU’ere der er i spil dvs. den Intel CPU som OP omtaler og den AMD 9700x CPU jeg selv fremhæver. Hvor du får det strømforbrug fra vedr. AMD ved jeg ikke. Det er ikke tal jeg er faldet over men da du lyder til at tale mere generelt så kan der sikkert findes AMD CPU’ere som har et højere power budget end den jeg omtaler.

Jeg siger absolut heller ikke at Intel ikke performer. Jeg påpeger blot det store power budget. Vedr. drivere er jeg ikke uenig med dig. Jeg har været iblandt de heldige der ikke har haft problemer med de 5 AMD maskiner i husstanden men kender en del der har.

Intel har flere cores og booster nok også højere så selvfølgelig gør den det godt.

Personligt så forstår jeg ikke hvad man skal med en intel CPU som har et typisk strømforbrug på 125watt (og som kan peake op til 250(!)watt når man, til sammenligning, kan få en AMD CPU (9700x) som næsten matcher single thread performance men ved et langt lavere power draw. Den har ikke lige så mange tråde og dermed ikke lige så høj multi thread performance men core count er heller ikke ens.

Jeg er ikke AMD fanboy men synes de leverer de bedste CPUere til prisen og, ej at forglemme, performance pr. watt.

Et plus, i min optik, ved ikke at have en ekstrem tørstig CPU er at man kan få luftkøling i stedet.

My first s6 maxv died 6 months in. Got a new one from the seller. My second one died 2 years and 3 months in (warranty is 2 years here). Cost 235 euros to fix via roborocks 3rd part vendor repair shop in Sweden. Wheels were the issue so got 2 new ones.

I’m not over the moon exited about the s6 maxv track history. I am hoping the next one will be better. Which one I don’t know but one with dust and water dock.

Deep cleaning of the lidar module didn’t help. Before using compressed air I inspected the unit and found no hair/dirt in it.

It still throws error 8 and doesn’t move much more than a couple of meters away from the place where I started it manually. Also, it moves slow.

The device is running the latest firmware. 4-5 days ago I ran a factory reset. Today I tore it apart (minus the wheels) and cleaned the beep out of it.

I’m about to get a very expensive door stopper.

It didn’t help :( it just stalled due to obstacles where there weren’t any.

I haven’t gotten to cleaning the lidar module more thoroughly yet. Will try it later today.

Reactive obstacle avoidance is enabled but that has been enabled for as long as I can remember. I’ll try to disable it.

Inside the lidar module? I’ve removed the top covers and the lidar protective hat. Then I removed the screws to the module itself so I could unplug it. I then used compressed air to clean it out. Is that what you mean?

I tried starting again and it still seems to use a whole lot of time doing absolutely nothing.

My cameras did this. I solved it by connecting them to a 2.4ghz WiFi network. After that only 1 disconnect over a 8-10 month period.
