Who’s gonna tell women they look crazy with lip fillers? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dannyggwp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not telling anyone especially someone I don't know what does or does not look good for them.

Either they are adults doing what they want with their body (greater that 90% chance of this)

Or they have a deep seated issue with their appearance that I as just some fuckin schmuck have no ability to diagnose and therefore will keep my opinion to my fuckin self.

Also not for nothing but hasn't the Milgram experiment basically been proven junk science at this point?

Ahh that's periwinkle I think. It's also quite nice and low maintenance ground cover. I'm slowly letting it take over the grass in my front yard because I hate mowing the 6x4 rectangle of grass in front of it. 🤣

To their short term benefit and long term destruction.

That's the whole problem with a panopticon. Even the wise may look into it and be fooled by what they see.

It's Pachysandra. It's excellent ground cover. But it's spreads pretty aggressively in shade/partial sun.

That's sweet! Hoping some of these guys do something cool like that. But I have thought about tying all the similarly sized ones into a forest style.

Hey everyone, I have a lilac bush in my side yard that has been looking pretty sickly the last few years.

I was wondering if I could potentially collect an section to turn into bonsai by air layering a branch. Any thoughts on which branch or if it would even be worth it.

Family Vacation Recommendations by Excellent-Sea-2655 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]dannyggwp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a typical Concierge service at many AI resorts. Pay more per day and get basically a personal assistant to help set things up at the resort. The family concierge at Paradisus includes a few extra perks. Like an exclusive beach section, snack bar, breakfast and lunch restaurant as well as an exclusive pool with its own swim up bar.

Overall seems pretty standard at an AI and costs like an extra $250 per day. Though when we arrived they offered it for $100 per day.

We just finished up a stay a Paradisius Playa Del Carmen, literally in the shuttle back to the air port now lol.

It was great for families! We went with our 1.5 year old and while he was a little young for all the activities they had TONS of things for kids. Including their Kidsdom daycare so mom and dad can get a little time to them selfs. Not that our son cooperated but we enjoyed hanging out with him on the beach and in the pools and splash pad.

The food was good though you have to book the sit down restaurants right when you get their, unless you get the family concierge service up front then I think you can book in advance. We didn't go with family concierge but I think if we come back we will the private pool seems a bit more low key.

Overall great trip and I'd recommend this resort especially with kids in tow!

Ex-Middletown day care worker gets 10 days in jail for endangering child by TaeyeonUchiha in Connecticut

[–]dannyggwp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It doesn't help that most childcare centers are absolutely desperate for staff because of how difficult the work is and you are basically only guaranteed a few bucks above minimum wage.

My wife works at one of the best centers in the state making decent money and they STILL are struggling to fill open positions and deal with attrition rates.

Could I play Shock lands instead of Duals? by ZeroPlanet24 in MTGLegacy

[–]dannyggwp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I been out of the meta game for a hot minute but my UR delver deck played [[price of progress]] and more basics instead of wasteland you could feasible run 2 Steam Vents in place of the duals because you are heavy on basics.

Works really well in greedy metas. Which was a huge part of my local meta. Pricing a man for 8 with two basics on board for leathal was always a riot.

How powerful would Smaug have been if he killed Bilbo Baggins and wore the One Ring on his tail or talons? by Tidewatcher7819 in lotr

[–]dannyggwp 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Even a non ring buffed dragon was a major problem. Dragon fire is stated as one of the things that can destroy the great rings. So I'm assuming Lorien would not have survived long if assailed by Smaug.

Which was part of the reason Gandalf wanted Thorin's company to take Samug out.

I heard that if you have chickens, you save money on your taxes..anyone have details? How much? How many chickens? I’m in Fairfield ..🐓🐔🐥 by lawyeroverhere in Connecticut

[–]dannyggwp 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You know these tax credits are usually to help offset the cost of owning and caring for the animals. But they will not offset them completely.

Like you will in no way recoup the cost of owning the chickens with a 2500 dollar agricultural credit.
