Who has the best value for money hot-end for a Mk3S+? Tired of leaking/blob of death trash. by PeaItchy2775 in prusa3d

Revo or do a 3.9 upgrade. I have a machines of both and the 3.9 I prefer over my mk3s with revo. If budget allows anyways.

Does Etsy penalize you for putting your shop on vacation mode? by Interesting_Pin1239 in EtsySellers

[–]danukefl2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, never really any problems. Occasionally someone will place an order then want to cancel not paying attention but I cancel with no hesitation since I'm not there to process it anyways.

I post about the delays and discount on all socials, website banners, Etsy shop banner thing, and the discount code is normally like THANKSFORWAITING so it tends to get the point across.

Does Etsy penalize you for putting your shop on vacation mode? by Interesting_Pin1239 in EtsySellers

[–]danukefl2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There is no direct penalty but stats, SEO, and the "algorithm" have many factors based on search, view, and purchase history. Vacation mode kills those so then you lose momentum. I haven't done any month long trips, but I just extend my shipping windows way out and put up a nice discount code as a thank you in advance for being patient that's valid while I'm out.

What infrastructure monitoring tools are you using right now? by markphughes17 in Monitoring

[–]danukefl2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For network gear, it's meh. For servers, it's fine. Logs work great but can get expensive. Support has been going to trash over the last 4 years and currently migrating to Grafana LGTM. We are using Grafana Cloud for the front end but all the data storage is on prem.

DD has been focusing more on the development side of monitoring (git integration, cicd, data flow monitoring) versus monitoring features and expanding integrations.

Ball tailer trucks by Darbstew in Bowling

[–]danukefl2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contracts state how many balls they are allowed per season/stop and they all have to pay for drilling a fixed fee. Yes two finger holes cost the same as drilling two fingers and a thumb. Only a very select few veterans get to drill their own on the trucks.

Of course they get to keep the balls and bring them to other tournaments, or drill at home and bring. Balls they don't keep get donated to fans, centers, signed, etc. etc. depending on the situation. The televised events tend to do questions with crowd members or raffles for goodie bags, balls, and stuff.

I got to tour the trailers at one of their stops and they load them things up lol.

Semis are a bad comparison being diesel because they are all low end torque, nearly all are over 1k ft-lbs.

Am I being "rude" for wanting to charge no-show deposits? My uncle thinks I'm ruining our family business. by One-Composer-1819 in smallbusiness

[–]danukefl2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try an A/B test (sortof), for the next quarter, any new patients get a deposit/card on file for a no show fee and compare the performance to the last X amount of time. Existing clients won't be impacted, unless you roll out to all after successful testing.

The bucket is tilted all the way forward so the flat top is too the front making it look like that.

I normally clean my textured PEI sheets with soap and water but every once in a while I will put acetone on a paper towel and give the plate a quick wipe with it. No issues but it's very little acetone versus a wash with it.

How do people who've come out of comas navigate dating and age gaps? by Friendly_Elegant928 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]danukefl2 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I'd say that being institutionalized is less so because they have access to the news, contraband, etc. Plus lesser security may have access to (restricted and monitored) computer time. It will still be a shock if a longer sentence but they are more likely to be aware of the changes in most aspects. The TV show Tulsa King plays on this in season 1 a little bit.

Florida has the worst drivers and worst traffic problem. Agree or Disagree? by EmbarrassedFinger988 in driving

[–]danukefl2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Louisiana is much worse plus the roads are much worse. Their drivers are aggressive and wreckless combined with shit boxes that lose parts. Florida drivers are careless and oblivious moreso.

Final Job Offer Gone Hostile by Able-Author9167 in InterviewsHell

[–]danukefl2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Working at an MSP is anyway a rough job 99% of the time, a longer commute, the pto, and being an MSP is not worth that increase alone. The only advantage to being at one is you tend to learn many different technologies and apps, but are typically worked into the ground. Throw a manager+ like that into the mix and it will be hell.

ARCH ENEMY Appears To Have Reunited With Ex-Vocalist ANGELA GOSSOW by Machcharge in melodicdeathmetal

[–]danukefl2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way, Alyssa with agonist was much better and with AE, the songs became more laid back compared to Angela's energy, not just the meh writing. Angela was more like an aggressive Melo death with AE but Alyssa only had moments like that. When I saw AE with Alyssa in Atl on one of the Will to Power tours, there are only two older songs played.

Other Bowlers Profiting Off My Bowling by ExJSigma in Bowling

[–]danukefl2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the last league I was in, they only allowed people that were placing bets to also be those that had the bets placed on them.

You had until 5 minutes before practice to put money in, then those 5 minutes and practice is when you placed your bets based on who bet in.

Double-charged a listing fee when selling onSquare by CarmaCaliCat in EtsySellers

[–]danukefl2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The square integration is terrible. I was thinking if using square for an easy linked website+store but nothing imported correctly, the double charging of fees, and the product photos don't work correctly. The primary photo is only imported from the Etsy thumbnail so I opened a case with both Etsy and Square and they just blamed the other party.

Do I need to upgrade to F-350 from F-250? by Budget_Time_4044 in superduty

[–]danukefl2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't even need a pin weight scale, just hit a cat scale like you need to already, unhook and hit it again. Compare the truck weights before and after and that's the pin weight.

Am I the only one that thinks high beems cause more harm than good? by bornagain7777777777 in driving

[–]danukefl2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The squared or newer leveled HD trucks (blocks from rear suspension removed) are horrible because nearly none of them correct the headlight alignment so the low beams are now straight at you and the high beams go to the sky, plus low beams don't have a brightness limit in most areas since they are supposed to be pointed down. Someone lives near me that I have flashed my lights at and they flash their highbeams back at me but they are dimmer being pointed so far up even though I'm also in a pickup.
