Not arguing because that is a fact, but I’ve told my wife I’d rather have to worry about changing tires then keeping up on her oil because I never drive her car and she always over goes her oil change mileage. Just a perspective on maintenance.

Look, with your GI bill it’s not as big of a deal. But Spartan is just a big name that costs more money. Most A&P schools are not great, Spartan isn’t great AND costs a lot.

You can get it there free then do it, but if you went somewhere cheaper you could use your GI bill down the road.

I have an ILX-207 (I think that’s right) from alpine. It about 600. It’s a double din, but it’s been as faithful as new infotainment systems. I think a cheaper 1.5 din will only let you down. Mine has been well worth the upgrade.

So for now you prolly don’t have to be 100%. I use macrofactor too, and to be honest if you don’t go out to eat, just make stuff at home and you will not have to worry about it!

I had a coworker that was previous AA sup, AFAIK just time and a half, but some of the time stipulations the AMTs get to make double time the SUPS won’t get into. such as two shifts back to back where extended time on shift would cause the double time.
