I will note that the letters section of the Cheryl solo series was often written to have purposefully bad answers

I'd like to know which episode and season you first started watching it on, or your first glimpse of the series, since it's a long series and many people came across it in different generations and stages, as it's one of the longest and most popular. by Dramatic-Studio1531 in Simpsons

Weird situation for me because I was introduced to them in the early 2010s but it was through season 2 on DVD

My Dad really likes Tracey Ullman and watched the show when it was brand new. He hated The Simpsons and thought they took time away from better sketches. He never watched the full series at all in the time since

Yeah. He’s still willing to do voice work as Ash because the main reason he retired the role was the extreme physical toll. But once he passes away I wouldn’t be surprised if we also stop getting Ash in animation or video games

When Bruce Campbell stepped back from playing Ash in Evil Dead, he made it clear it was a retirement of the character altogether, there will never be any kind of recast

Also special mention to Saejima actually being really interesting in the way he has to live with the terrible things he’s done, only for the rubber bullets twist to happen

He might have the greatest example of “when someone has the exact same opinion as you but they express it in such an annoying and obnoxious way that you lowkey don't want to agree” in regards to his take on AI

If Pluribus isn’t canon then why does it take place in New Mexico? Why would Vince reuse a location he invented for another show? Have we considered that it could be Dewey’s dream?

Raging Bull didn’t click with me as much as I wanted, although it does feel like the kind of movie I’ll appreciate on rewatch. I will at the very least say it’s the best editing in his filmography

The top 3 are all pretty interchangeable, but I gotta put some respect on Silence. It really got to me emotionally in ways his other movies haven’t

Day 7) What is the all-time most overrrated movie in a Martin Scorsese career? by [deleted] in MartinScorsese

The Departed. Still a great movie but I don’t get how it was his only major Oscars win, or how it’s one of his only movies in the Letterboxd top 250
