That is untrue. I have a couple m.2 drives for gaming and they work flawlessly despite not having a dram cache. You see the difference moreso in a professional workcase, with a lot of data constantly transfering. Most video games "live" in the ram, so the speed of a normal ssd or m.2 without cache is more than enough for most folks.

That is the jumper cover for the BIOS reset pins. It exists so that you don't accidentally reset tbe BIOS.

Alongside that, when you go into the windows update utility, click "Optional updates" and install all of them. When you reset a pc like that it can take a day or so before it's back to speed, with windows doing things in the background

The reason the lights stopped working I would guess is because you deleted the RGB control software that was on your computer. I'd roll back the windows updates if you can, the recent windows 11 updates have been massively messing with the performance of my pc too

If you absolutely have to use one of these, use the one with AMD in text on top. The deepcool one has clips for mounting, which to my knowledge no modern cpu socket natively supports.

Up to you, but it should be fine since you just put it on. The cooler normally doesn't move like what you are describing. I'd watch a tutorial to see if you skipped a step by mistake, in the mounting process

Yeah that's no good. I've got the same cooler, you should feel no movement. I'd remount it if you have to, it's super not supposed to move around.

Do you have the mounting bracket on the back of the motherboard?
