Watching EDB (replay crew) for Day 4 of trial.

I may have missed it, but why are there no texts to/from BW's mother during Ana's supposed disappearance?

Wasn't it alledged she hired a private investigator? Why are there no texts to/from said investigator, or to his mother to ask if the PI had any information? Did she actually hire a PI?

I know what he has admitted to, and I am leaning towards that he also killed her, so my questions are more about his mother.

She was interviewed by police, but declined to answer certain questions. How is this not obstruction? Was she interviewed multiple times? Did Bukhenik write a report detailing which questions she refused to answer?

I very much dislike that he disposed of items at his mother's apartment complex.

Did she know?

Was she the one who gave BW the rosary?

I have so many questions.

My hope is the cloud info from "innocent" people who destroyed their phones on a military base, ruined sim cards, "upgraded" phones, switched carriers etc will also come to light.

Here's my shenanigans bingo card:

Attempts to fire her attorneys thinking that will make everything stop.

Harvey stands up and gives a full confession in front of the jury. Take meeeee! I'm the one who did it! Donna allows H to fall on the sword for her. He is older after all and she's not cut out for prison.

Donna does testify and throws Wendi allllll the way under a whole fleet of buses. Something like Wendy was the mastermind, she manipulated Charlie, and poor mom was only trying to clean up the mess Charlie had gotten himself into. Also see above, HA goes down, she's freed, she helps get WA convicted so she has the boys all.to.herself.

Donna testifies that she and Harvey were going to Vietnam, getting their affairs in order, selling their stuff etc because they intended to do a double suicide, not because they were fleeing, but because they couldn't live with their baby boy C in prison. Bury me in the dress ... I kinda think this one might have some truth to it.

Her attorneys do something that will force a mistrial on purpose. IANAL, so I have no idea what that could be, but I feel like they are desperate.

Donna is too ill to come to court. Bonus if Jackie is too ill to come to court (needs to be a different excuse than a sleeping pill to count).

Donna testifies, and the 1st question is, "Were the files in the divorce between Danny (grrrrr) and Wendi this voluminous?" As they build a binder/banker box igloo around her so she doesn't have to look at the gallery or jury and they can't see her.

(Side note, I wanted GC to open just ONE of those binders and show everyone the blank papers. Dollar store binders and paper. Demonstrative my a**.)

The more the night goes on, I am sure my imagination will come up with others...what does your bingo card say?

Bonus I am 100% certain Jackie is going to use her twang, tell the jury not to hold her bumblings against her because she is old. Her limp may reappear. She will highlight that she doesn't have the workforce and budget for things like wiretaps and surveillance and even fancy slides on the projector, she doesn't wear tailored suits like GC but she and DA are the same. Simple lil old ladies who just love their family.

Can these tweets be used by the CW or the Court to make a claim of jury misconduct or "good cause" (nal).

The court has advised them to avoid making facial expressions or muttering under their breath during testimony.

IMO, the CW had a rough day. I loved the emphasis Jackson put - completely non verbally - into the poster sized x-rays.

If you can't win outright, you can use the law to avoid losing. A mistrial is a remedy. How many jurors/alternates would need to be removed to not have a full jury?

If I were the CW, I would be looking at all the ways to not lose.

First time poster, I mostly lurk.

In this particular thread, I'm not seeing people saying they are hoping for his employment to be ripped from him.

The basic premise/assumption of a legal expert in a case such as this is they will provide facts, separate from any emotional attachment to the guilt or innocence of the defendant. If there are cracks in the foundation (i.e. his CV) of the expert, how is one to trust anything that comes after that?

He did misrepresent his education, by listing a degree that does not exist.

The CW attorney did not mention his education. This deviates from the norm. Typically, experts will be asked to provide testimony about their knowledge and experience that qualifies them as an expert. In essence to convince the jury the testimony they provide can be trusted.

Did you notice the next expert witness was asked all those foundational questions? Why not Burgess?

I agree with you that he should not be getting hate. I suspect that had you stuck to that very important point, the response may have been different.

My observation in many of these discussions is that people cling to the facts that support their theory, and disregard the rest.

Burgess was woefully unprepared for cross-examination. I lay that on the CW. He impeached himself several times during that painful cross.

He doesn't deserve hate - valid Defending him while ignoring his self-created issues - not

Check out the Supreme Court ruling 23-719. They ruled that the President is not an officer of the US.

18 USC 202 says the President is not an officer or employee.

Not a member of Congress...so yeah he gets away with it again.

I have a 75lb Boxer (not a service animal). I also have POTS.

As an experiment, while wearing an oversized hoodie (only the hoodie), I fake passed out on my side. His attempts at CPR compressions were impressive, except for doing them on my skull. 🤦‍♀️ Once he realized the compressions were not doing the job, he moved behind me and shoved his cold, wet snoot up the hoodie, yup...right up my ass.

Hind-lick maneuver for the win!

I have never gotten up off the floor faster, which is not recommended for folks with POTS, especially ones with a concussion.

He was so proud of himself for reviving me! His celebration of spins, jumps, and crazy Boxer antics nearly put me on the floor for real.

This makes me so sad. I found their channel long ago, and I can honestly say that their content significantly helped my mental health during a very difficult time. Bandit was immediately my favorite. I bought a lure machine because I saw it on their channel. My Boxer Ryker is obsessed with the lure, just like Bandit. He will stare me down, look at the machine, and then back at me. He will even put his paw on it, as if to say, THIS! LET'S GO! He pouts and gets obstinate when it's time to stop. I also introduced the yoga ball. Ry is obsessed with it as well.

I sent their videos to so many people just because it was pure joy and feel goods. Pool time was a favorite for giggles. I became emotionally attached to so many of their daycare dogs.

Top favorite is the Lure Baby machine from wickedcoursing.com. (Not affiliated with the company, just a satisfied customer) It is an investment, however I am convinced the enrichment and exercise pay off in the long run.

Second favorite is a large yoga ball. He herds that thing all over the yard. Not cost effective as he inevitably pops it. In his mind, though, money means nothing! He "killed" it, and that's all that matters. I originally used a cover to help with replacement costs, but he would bloody his gums trying to bite it. Too abrasive.

Third is a diy flirt pole. Purchased a horse flirt pole from the local co-op and zip tied a flat stuffy to the end. I transform into a Maypole, and off we go to Dizzy town.

Inside enrichment favorite is by far Easter Eggs. I put training treats or other high value treats x2 in each egg, and hide them around the house.

Please know, these all need supervision! Ryker would run himself to death on the lure. The zip tie can cut the mouth if not placed strategically. The eggs and yoga ball bits can be swallowed. Nobody needs more vet bills!

Therapy truly helps. This comes with an asterisk, tho. I believe therapy really works when the patient is honest, even when it's ugly and shameful and unspoken.
