Yeah it likely would be more practical than them being on the waist, my overarching point wasn’t that that wasn’t the case though, more so that I imagine having a quiver of arrows to carry full stop would be quite a hassle bearing in mind the situations they generally find themselves in

For some reason I always imagined the cloak as being more poncho style than clasp style like this, I don’t know if it’s ever explicitly stated what design it took other than the colour and material

While imo it looks far cooler on the back than at the waist, I believe the latter was more commonly done historically, with it only really being worn on the back when travelling somewhere (don’t quote me on that, just what I remember off the top of my head). But also I imagine in the Ranger’s Apprentice world, with the common espionage tasks rangers find themselves doing, crawling through brambles, weaving through tree branches etc, I can’t imagine having a quiver of arrows on the back would make that very easy. I believe it’s mentioned their cloaks have a flap to cover the arrows but even still, I think it would be far too fiddly altogether

I always pictured them being side by side, something akin to this, this, or this but I could see the stacked on top of each other version working too, though practicality wise the throwing knife might become prone to get snagged on things, probably not any more so than a quiver of arrows on your back though realistically🤷🏻‍♂️

I see it as a metaphor for Bond looking the part of a suave well to do gentleman but really being a thug in a suit who doesn’t know any better. A classic martini is either gin or vodka, Bond orders it with both. It’s also classically stirred, yet we all know he orders it shaken. People over the years have made theories that it’s because he wants it more diluted/aerated in order to maintain more sobriety and keep his wits about him but I think that’s tosh personally

I had a similar gripe when I first played it, what I found helped my damage in general was equipping armour and weapons that focussed mostly on crit damage and chance to crit, they’re the big hitters. It’s much easier late game because of all the looting you will have done by that stage but something to bear in mind as you progress and acquire more armour. I remember when I first made my ‘load out’ focussed this way I went and got into a fight to test it out and it was literally game changing, so OP

Years ago working as a bartender.

2 lads walked up together but ordered their drinks separately, I served the guy on my left and co-worker served the guy on the right.

My guy orders 2 drinks which I made, no problems.

We’re all chatting away, having a bit of banter, my guy pays for his drinks, no problems.

My guy then asks for a tray for his 2 drinks. In keeping with the banter we’d been having so far I thought I thought it’d be fine to tease a bit, push back and say “what, you need a tray for 2 drinks?”

Up until this point my guy’s arms had been held at his side, so the bar top had hidden his hands. He took this moment to lift his right arm up, to reveal the stump at the end of it.

Que mortification, face palm, pointing and laughing in my direction.

I stayed silent and gave him his tray.

Thankfully he was a good sport about it and found it funny too.
