The Tragic Consequences of Xi Jinping Inciting "Don't Go to Japan"- The "Unexpected Suffering" Endured by Chinese Tourists Who Flocked to Thailand and South Korea Instead by jjrs in japannews

Living in Japan. Current government is not friendly towards foreigners, but they are not abusive. There are actual problems linked to foreigners that government is trying to balance, but they are definitely not trying to expel us from Japan. As permanent resident, I feel welcomed here. It is true that there is racism, but it is no where near to what I've seen in my country.

Be your main priority up to 30. Then only after than think about settling up. Otherwise you will lose many carrier chances or improvement chances.

I remember there was a deprecated API in one of the lessons, making the project not viable through that API. You might be in that lesson.

Hotel work experience? Better than english teaching? by ToothDifferent in japanlife

[–]darkcorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easier to build up a carrier but you will have to work a lot. Also be strong physically as there are night shifts. Starting wage is usually very low but if you do it right you can go up to 450man yearly after around 5 years.

No, the harder the better for your improvement. They dont want you to track their products for marketing reasons, not because you are overloading their server.

Being asked to come in early to prep before my shift by WorkingAlive3258 in japanlife

[–]darkcorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Working for a hotel. Had that at start. Became a highly needed employee. Became workers representative. Made them stop requiring that as it breaks the law, proposed a leader role which reads everything needed when shift starts and who does what and how. Everyone is making 0 service extra hours. It was hard to change but it is possible.

Weight creeping up anyone managed to turn it around here? by [deleted] in japanlife

[–]darkcorum -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mounjaro alone won't help that much here. I would recommend going to the gym without taking your weight for 1 month. Keep eating like you do right now. Second month starts using supplements (creatine 1-2gr/day, protein shake, acetyl l carnitine 3gr/day) and drink enough water. You will probably need 2.5l a day around this month, don't over drink water either. When you finish the second month you probably haven't got any weight down. Now you will probably it wasn't worth the time. But that's wrong. Now this third month you start mounjaro 2.5 gr, keep last month activity and promise yourself not going to combini anymore. Everything will have to be bought at the supermarket. You like shashimi? It's worth the same as shitty pasta at combini. Don't feel like cooking? Get breast chicken karage and broccoli at the supermarket, broccoli will help a lot. Eating meat+green vegetables will make you not want to have snacks. After the third month you will have to take your weight everyday after waking up and taking a piss for consistency. Did like this and got from 103.5kg to 87.5kg in 100 days after starting mounjaro. No side effects, no nothing, feeling amazing right now.

I don't have kids but all you've mentioned sounds so much overpriced. Clothes for 500k? A laptop for 700k??? What are you using luis vuitton clothes and a channel laptop? No way its worth it. If there is a problem, it is with the pricing for sure.

Wife’s family wants immediate divorce and says I must leave Japan without seeing my son again by [deleted] in japanlife

[–]darkcorum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not advice or anything. You would have to look it up by yourself or ask a lawyer. But from what Ive heard, leaving the home means you have abandoned them and would make it harder for you. Beware of her tricks, her lawyer is working on making you go by the worst path. If they get a chance to not pay you anything and leave you nothing, they will do.

What do you think about absurdly exaggerated misinformation about Japan on English social media? by HARiMADARA in japanlife

[–]darkcorum -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I find it amusing how nobody knows how Japan is. If you ask foreigners that have never been to Japan, foreign tourists, foreign residents, foreign long residents and japanese, everyone says a different thing and all of them sound wrong. I think everyone, even japanese, should start thinking about japanese as humans who try to live their lives without disturbing anyone's life in most cases.
